About Deborah Carney
Deborah Carney has been a freelance photographer for over 35 years, covering events, weddings and cat shows, in addition to macro and general nature photography. Her cat photographs were published by T.H.F. publications in two of their cat breed books, one about American Shorthairs and the other featuring the Sacred Cat of Burma.
Additionally, as a prolific photographer with an eye for details, she will be publishing a number of books that are photo based with information about the photographs in them. The ability for these photos to now be able to be enjoyed in color on eReaders and eReader apps has inspired her to create a multitude of books on a large variety of subjects.
Her favorite subjects to photograph are butterflies, hummingbirds and macro images of flowers, in addition to wildlife and nature of all kinds. There will be many series of books about nature in general and by species, and wildlife plus beautiful locations that she has photographed.
Deborah Carney has been involved in online marketing since 1997, with a variety of web projects. Currently an award winning affiliate program manager, internet consultant, blogger and podcaster. Carney started the popular ABCsPlus series of podcasts to teach people how to make money online. The series includes Affiliate ABCs, Blogging ABCs, Merchant ABCs, BookGoodies, and WAHMoms-WAHDads with more coming. Carney has also spoken at many affiliate industry events and has a long history of public speaking and writing on disability rights and issues relating to children with disabilities.
Currently Deborah is transcribing the many informative podcasts she has produced with industry experts in both internet marketing and book publishing and will be compiling those into books that will give people good, real, and actionable information from a variety of voices, not just her own opinions.
Deborah's son Daniel was a prolific writer and passed away at the age of 21, Deborah is in the process of releasing his writing first as eBooks, then in print. The first is a book of essays, next will be a novel, followed by novels from his screenplays that he wrote. He was a student at the prestigious NYU Film Writing program and several of his plays and film scripts won awards.
I hope you will join us on our adventure through self publishing.

Poetry and Peonies: Japanese Tree Peonies (Poetry and Peonies: Coffee Table Books Book 1)
Dec 3, 2011
$2.99
Peonies have always fascinated me, from the bushes that grew in my Grandmother’s garden years ago to the tree peonies I recently discovered in the Botanical Gardens in New York City. They are so colorful, so playful and yet so serene.
I can, and have, spend hours just looking and drinking in their solitude and beauty.
This book is the first in a series and even though it isn’t all poetry, I hope you will give me poetic license to include quotes and words that are inspirational to me, and hopefully to you.
This book has full color photographs when viewed on Kindle apps or on the Kindle Fire, and the images are also beautiful in black and white when displayed on devices that don't support color.

Affiliate Program Agreement Essentials (Merchant ABCs Basics for Successful Affiliate Marketing)
Aug 12, 2011
$0.99
If your company has an affiliate program or is considering starting one, this is a must read. *This is a transcription from a podcast roundtable discussion* This discussion includes affiliate marketing experts that have all spoken at Affiliate Summit, the largest affiliate marketing conference in the US.
Eric Nagel is an experienced affiliate marketer that consults with merchants before he will run their offers. He joins Deborah Carney and Vinny O'Hare to discuss how merchants can create affiliate agreements that clarify to both the merchants and the affiliates that want to promote them the do's and don'ts.
Many merchants are not aware that if they don’t have an Affiliate Agreement in place they are giving affiliates carte blanche to do whatever they want to promote your affiliate program. Eric joined us today to help explain to merchants both new and existing why they need a properly created affiliate agreement.
Affiliates want you to have an agreement so they have guidelines and so they know that your affiliate manager and company have thought about the many ways affiliates can promote the merchant’s site. Affiliates will also assume that once you have an agreement in place that you will enforce it appropriately.
“If you don't write it down, if you don't say we can't do it, then a lot of times we're going to assume that we can. Affiliates are very imaginative. We're creative.”
- Eric Nagel
Topics we cover are: Search Engine Marketing – both PPC and organic, Direct to Merchant Linking in PPC and social media, Domain names – including subdomains and subdirectories, Coupon site regulations, Loyalty site regulations, Email restrictions, Social Media links and posts, iFrames and other framing of the merchant site, Policy about adware, spyware, toolbars and other downloads, Prohibited Affiliate Website Content, Unacceptable Web Sites (Banner farms, PLR sites etc).

Butterflies have always fascinated photographers and writers Deborah Carney and Vinny O'Hare. In this book they share the first in a series of books featuring their photographs of butterflies with quotes, proverbs and poetry about butterflies. In addition to a quote or poem on each page, the butterfly is also identified.
Readers appreciate seeing all the different varieties and knowing what they are. This is a fun book to share with young people to help them to appreciate the beauty of butterflies and nature. We hope this encourages efforts for the conservation of butterfly habitat so they can be enjoyed by generations to come.
A Butterfly Lights Beside Us
A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam...
and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world...
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it could have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all.
~ Author Unknown
All our butterfly photographs are taken of live butterflies in the wild or in sanctioned butterfly conservatories.
This book has full color images that will be in color on Kindle apps for devices, and on the Kindle Fire. They also will look great in black and white on Kindles that don't support color.

Affiliate Marketers’ Recipes for Yummy Desserts and Success! Since the 90’s, affiliate marketers have had a love affair with cookies – not the chocolate chip, or oatmeal variety – but the pieces of code that ultimately tracks affiliates’ sales and commissions earned. These affiliate marketers are a diverse group. Some work part-time and earn enough to subsidize their income while others have created extremely lucrative businesses. Ultimately, success is defined by the affiliates themselves. To that end, we’ve asked affiliate marketers from around the globe to share their recipe for success and favorite cookie (or other yummy dessert). The result is a mouth-watering collection of recipes and thought-provoking insights learned on their road to success – an interesting read and a wonderful addition to your own kitchen. “It’s All About the Cookies” was produced to help http://www.AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com efforts to raise money to support breast cancer research, treatment, awareness and community programs. 100% of the net profits will be donated to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, which has raised more than $380 million since 2003 to help fight this horrible disease.
