About the Author

Trevor and Michelle Thomas are Christ followers and homeschooling parents to Caleb, Jesse, Caroline, and Noah.

Trevor teaches high school mathematics in Gainesville, GA. In his spare time, he maintains his website (TrevorGrantThomas.com) where he provides Christian commentary and information. His columns have been featured in such publications as American Thinker, Center for a Just Society, Real Clear Religion, Real Clear History, Real Clear Science, The Patriot Post, Lucianne, U.S. Action News, as well as The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Gainesville Times.

Michelle enjoys writing for her blog, KingdomCrossing.com, couponing, handling the finances for their church, working part time from home, and editing all of Trevor's writing.

Michelle graduated from North Georgia College with a B.S. in sociology. Trevor's degrees include a B.S. inphysics and an M.Ed. in mathematics education from North GeorgiaCollege, as well as an Ed.S. in mathematics education from theUniversity of Georgia.

This book is an excellent help for couples, especially at the beginning of marriage. I wish my wife and I had access to this information when we married in 1961! Not only is the information helpful, but the example of Michelle and Trevor in perseverance, hard work, and trust in the Lord is encouraging. Once I began reading, it was hard to lay aside. This book would make an excellent Christmas present or wedding gift.

Debt-Free Living in a Debt-Filled World: A book to encourage, educate, inform, and inspire.
This was a memoir. Where was the inform, educate and inspire?
To be fair, I enjoyed the book. However, as I am on a budget, I am trying not to purchase memoirs or fiction; I get those from the library. I thought this book was (based on the title) going to be full of helpful tips that I could put into practice. There were a very few tips at the end, but this is not something that I will be referencing. Thus, the one star. Had it been titled: "Debt-Free Living in a Debt-Filled World: Our Family's Journey to Financial Freedom", or something along those lines, I would not have felt duped. As it stands, I was disappointed that the book did not live up to its title.
