Editorial Reviews

He stars in "Blue Collar TV" and the next Blue Collar Comedy Tour movie, whose original documented the most successful comedy tour in years. He's scored #1 comedy albums, platinum and gold among them, and outsold Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Jerry Seinfield. He's racked up a gold #1 Country hit. He's even popularized a phrase into everyday speech. Now A Decade of Laughs brings together his funniest routines on CD. Here's your sign...Bill Engvall is one of today's most popular comedians.

Best known for his "Here's Your Sign" bit -- as in what stupid people should be given -- Bill Engvall has built quite a following for his everyman brand of humor, a mix of folksy observations ("Factory outlet malls...Where you go to buy mistakes"), everyday family absurdities ("Son, please don't bite the dog..."), and the general trials of being a guy -- quitting smoking, being stubbornly old-fashioned, and getting old. "I don't know what this guy was looking for," Engvall says of the doctor giving him a physical, "But after a while I'm like 'Hey doc, why don't you tell me what I'm thinking?!'" Engvall has been especially successful as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, where he joins Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White in grousing good-naturedly about the inanities of American life. Fans of that tour will feel right at home with this overview of Engvall's solo material, as will his longtime listeners, since it gives them the big hits.

What a breath of fresh air! Someone who actually has a brain that functions in the comedy world. There are just a handful. He is truly funny talking about what always makes us laugh - the human condition - ourselves. Not mean spirited or spiteful. Someone who likes himself, his family and other people.

Feeling down about yourself? Then you need to listen Bell Engvall. His comedy is right up there with Jeff Foxworthy. He is so funny. When I put this in the car for the first time, I actually had to pull over cause I was laughing so hard. Thanks Bill for making me laugh like that.

Bill Engvall will have you rolling on the floor. He's talks about real life experiences that every one can relate to and listening to him on my ride to and from work makes the drive a must more enjoyable one.

It's nice to have a comic in the Bill Cosby sense of things. His way of observing the common day-to-day stuff is side splitting.

Bill Engvall made Here's Your Sign his trademark. Like Jeff Foxworthy's You Might Be A Redneck. There are 22 tracks on this cd. Which show's here is a lot more to him then just that. Things like Flying, Bungee Jumping And Parachuting which kills me. When Did Shrapnel Become A Fashion Accessory. There's a little bit of everything on here. He talks about family, and every day life. You need to have friends over and listen to this. I guarantee it will have everybody rolling in the floor.

This guy is extremely funny. My whole family loves this CD. We listen to it on family trips and it makes traveling a lot better. The dork fish section is great. Our neighbors recommended it to us and we recommend it highly too.
