I love this book. A combination of romance andintrigue topped with mystery. Can't wait for the next in the series!
The audio works beautifully. Kindle pronounces some of the names differently. Cute!
From the Author
Many things inspire me. Ideas for my books can come from places I've traveled. Places I've lived.
Tidbits of odd knowledge I pick up while reading throughout the day. Odd questions that fill my mind when I have one of those "what if moments". But as always I must say I do take a lot of my inspiration from the grandiose landscape of the magnificent State of California.
For example, for my book The Deceiver my inspiration came from my yearly visit to Half Moon Bay California, for their annual Pumpkin Festival. The trick to having a great time during the Pumpkin Season is to not go on the days of the Festival, unless you love huge gigantic crowds of people. Pretty much there is great fun to be had even it is not the weekend of the Pumpkin Festival.
I normally go the first weekend in October of each year. Thou not as elaborate as the Pumpkin Festival, I always find great fun at Lemos Ranch and Pastorino's Farm. Both sit directly across from each other on Highway 92.
Each time I go, I discover costumed people strolling about as witches, Dracula and even that purple dragon Barney. Oh, and I always find great Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas finds in the red barn at Pastorino's farm.
Best of all I get inspiration for my books. Ideas just seem to flow. As I did for my book The Deceiver.
Want to know what ideas inspired The Deceiver?
Well check out the book and find out. You'll soon discover what mysteries unfolded for me in Half Moon Bay, when you do. Enjoy!
