I haven't written a review for any of the books prior to this one but I read the whole series in 5 days. For one, I will say I waited until all of them were out before I read them. I don't think the experience would have been as great if I would have had to wait between them. I read too much to remember what happened from book to book.
Secondly, I would say that after the first book I was in love with Wes and thought the author did a fabulous job of establishing such a connection in just over 100 pages. I was mad and frustrated at Mia for leaving Wes and was determined that the series was not going to be for me is that was the way the books were going to go with new love interests each month, especially after the 2nd book. I admit that I looked ahead in reviews to see if the readers were happy with the direction that the books were heading before investing too much more into the next 10 books. When I saw the reviews I kept going. After the next 2 I felt better because Wes was still alive and well and she wasn't simply hooking up with someone new each month. In July, I was blown away and they just kept getting better from there. The author knew exactly when to pull the trigger and make this into more for the readers than a monthly diary. When the relationship with Mia and Wes began to grow, the story went to the next level and took it from good to great. Add a little suspense, family drama, and humor to the mix and then the series went from great to extraordinary.
This was one of the top 3 series I have ever read and would highly recommend it to anyone that loves a great romance with some broken characters that find hope and healing as well as some steamy romance and a great plot to go along with it.

12 books for 2.99 each and some of them weren't even 200 pages, just ridiculous. I kept reading I loved book 1-4 but really if your scared some man is going to harm or kill your family and you say you love them why wouldn't you just let bachelor number one pay off your debt and pay him back. The whole plot was kind of dumb but when I start something I like to finish, so treaded I through 12 books. This is not the next fifty shades not even close.

December by Audrey Carlan 10 + stars!
What a fantastic finish! Audrey Carlan did an astounding job with the final installment of The Calendar Girl Series. From start to finish this series brings out a lot of different emotions through Mia's journey for the readers. This final month was a remarkable, overwhelming, mentally and emotionally exciting book, a very breathtaking story till the end. Love that at the end Audrey give us a glance into the life of most of the amazing group of family and friends that accompany Mia through her journey. This final book got it all, drama, love, hot sex, tiers, secrets reviled, family, friends, mental illness, compassion and understanding. Don't miss the Calendar Girl Series they will not disappoint you!
I can't wait for more books from you!!!!!

First of all I started with this series in January because everything thought it was great. Well by the time I got to June I had decided that I was wasting money. So I skipped to December just to wrap it up. Guess what..I was able to figure out what happened without spending the money for the previous books. Also, I got tired of the same concept over and over and over again. I felt like this series was in a rut and couldn't get out of it. Also, this was being compared to the 50 shades of gray series...not even close! Those books were way better than these.

December is the the final episode of this unique series. It wraps up the different storylines that are still pertinent. The endings are semisweet & very realistic considering the interwoven stories. This Journey has been insightful and has been a joy to go along for the ride! I recommend for individuals who may be considering "taking the plunge" to do so, by reading these books in order. And if you can, read only one per month, or possibly, every few weeksI I didn't do so at the beginning of my journey with these novels & found when I slowed down the reading it allowed me to appreciate the content more fully. The author should be applauded for coming up with this concept & executing it so flawlessly!!!

I love Mia and Wes and this is the best possible ending to a year of change for Mia. In the 12th installment we get to see how Audrey Carlan beautifully ties the story together to give her readers and ending to remember and cherish. Mia has gone through so much in the past eleven months and December is no different. She has a meeting with her mother and comes out of it swinging and ready to grow. Wes is her rock through the entire book and we see how he evolves from his past. I just love the way the book is written. There is nothing sexier than Mia and Wes sharing their love for each other everywhere! Reading December has put a smile on my face and I just want more and more and more from this series. You will love it! I definitely recommend you read it!

My God! I devoured this serial in a little over a week and I loved every second of it. Mia is my most favorite heroine of all time. Her fire and hunger for life are inspirational. I adore every character in this serial and wish I knew people like them in real life. I cannot fathom how popular Fifty Shades has become over the Calendar Girl. This is why I read; to meet characters like the ones in Calendar Girl. I'm now going to pray I find more books like these to lose myself in.
