"...Guare diverges creatively from the formula in her debut thriller, Deceptive Cadence. The result is a richer reading experience that we get with 'masters' of the genre like Robert Ludlum.

"This is one of those times when a narrator just lifts a good book that much higher...Wayne Farrell became Conor McBride, excellent job." - Audiothing
"His performance brought the characters to life and added the perfect amount of drama and angst to this well-written thriller. For me, he will always be the voice of hero Conor McBride." - Readers Favorite
