This book is the second in from my understanding a duet of books. There is sex and there is some violence due to the past coming back to haunt. This book is also done in Jules point of view just like Sex Desires and Rock N Roll.
Michelle Lee does not disappoint in this book. Dash and Jules have a lot of obstacles to overcome in this book. The have exes to deal with and a band manager that if you ask me is just plain rude. But, none of this stops them from loving each other the only way that they know how. They are both very strong people, even though they may not think it of themselves, they truly show strength in everything that they do. Jules has to deal with an ex coming back and things are definitely not easy where that is concerned due to his attitude towards Jules. And Dash god love him has to deal with his manager bringing his ex-back into the picture. With the band on tour in this book it isn’t quite as easy for Dash and Jules to work through the problems they are having. Jules thinks she isn’t good enough and when Dash tries to convince her she still has her doubts. Thankfully, Jules comes around to realize that Dash loves her and would never lie about her being enough. When you think about love, you know there is going to be ups and downs, and these two are the exact same. Michelle Lee has a way of writing her characters to make you feel like you can relate to them and how they handle the situations they are put in. In this love story you get all sides of how a relationship will have its ups and downs, and for that reason it makes this book and the one prior to this, more relatable for the reader. Jules and Dash for me are an amazing couple and I hope that in the future we get to see more of them from Ms. Lee.
Rating: # 4 stars out of 5
Like the first book, I have mixed feelings about this book. I still think that it has a very interesting plot. Jules was in a relationship with an extremely controlling man who was both physically and emotionally abusive. Eighteen months after Jules walked away from her abuser, she meets rocker Dash Ford. Jules and Dash have a strained relationship. Dash is a sexy rock star that every girl wants. Including Dash’s very beautiful ex girlfriend. Because of her past relationship, Jules has a hard time believing that Dash could really want her. Something that he proves time and time again. The sparks between Jules and Ford are still flying, the chemistry is still very evident. The pacing of book two like book 1, is where this book loses a 5 star rating from me. Jules is lacking in self confidence, a result of her past relationship. I still get it, but if I was Dash, I would have given up. It is hard to trust someone after something like this happens, but we are still reading Jules’s conversation with herself about how unworthy she is page after page, chapter after chapter still detracting from what is a good story in my opinion. The ending is good with a few surprises. The character development is a little better. Jules develops a little back bone and Dash is still consistently proving his feeling, and meet every challenge that Jules puts before him. Yes, I still liked this book, and I do recommend it.

4 follow your heart stars!! Heartbreaking, but so beautiful!
Book two picks up after book one. Jules and Dash are still trying to navigate their relationship through their dark past and now through being in spotlight. I really loved this second book in the series. Dash and Jules are slowly starting to come together, but her dark past is still haunting her and threatening to ruin her relationship with Dash. And when Dash is faced with his own problems regarding his “image” he has to figure things out….can they make it?
I will say the second book is just as good as the first. I loved getting more insight into Jules and Dash and what they’ve gone through and are going through. I’ve really fallen in love with this series!
