Deckard Caine, born sometime in the 1980s in rural Georgia, has moved around as an adult living in several states across the country and even spent some time in the United Kingdom where he traveled to see famous landmarks such as Stonehenge and Glastonbury Tor (the fabled spot of the Isle of Avalon from Arthurian legend). He even made his way to the famed Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria.
Mr. Caine is an avid reader who has been interested in science fiction, fantasy, and detective stories from an early age. Reading the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, Robert Jordan, and classics by Homer, T.H. White, and Sir Thomas Mallory among others has given him a deep love of the literary word. So much so he's written short stories consistently since Junior High though his early works were lost/destroyed during his multiple moves. Among these lost works were tales of space horror, detective stories set in futuristic locales and short stories of sword and sorcery in the vein of Conan the Barbarian.
Current works include short superhero fiction involving his own unique characters posted on a superhero message board, the Sci-Fi short called Sword of the Apocalypse, and a still unfinished epic fantasy novel. His hobbies include reading, spending time at the shooting range working on his marksmanship, kickboxing, and Sci-Fi movie marathons.
Deckard lives in a secret bunker with his lovely wife Milena, daughters Leigh and Rose, their two dogs Coco & Chewie, and a cat named Midnight.
