Returning it immediately.
The color is one that looks different depending on which light it is in. In my blue bathroom the color is more of a burgundy, which I like. When I first took it out of the box in the living room, it looked orange, which I didn't like. So move it to where it will live before giving up on it.
Also it is very light weight, which is awesome for moving it around, not so awesome when you are tugging at the TP and the whole thing threatens to tip over. I have solved this with a 4x4 paver stone in the bottom where the extra rolls of TP live.
Overall, for the price it is a very nice item. Just beware of it's little oddities and you may like it as much as I do.
I was thinking about packing it up and returning it, when I realized it would take me less time to put a thin layer of metallic craft paint on it than to arrange a return, so I whipped out some paints from my crafting stash and went to work. After about 15 minutes, it looked the way I had hoped it would look out of the box. It was a fun project, and now I have the pride of knowing I painted it myself; so as a useful crafty item, it is highly successful.
