Editorial Reviews

What do the symbols and numbers on the dollar bill actually mean? We'll take a look at the shadier and more intriguing threads of meaning and symbolism at play in the bill's design. Extraordinary strands of numerology are interwoven into the bill's structure which on analysis suggest surprising hidden alignments. Why does it look the way it does and how has it changed through the ages? We'll analyze the significance of changes in the bill's appearance over time and examine alternative designs. We'll also look at the historical context of the bill's conception--what the dollar bill set out to represent--the patriotism and idealism of a young republic; and go inside the Treasury's Department of Printing and Engraving for exclusive access to the presses and the people who process the millions upon millions of dollars in circulation.

After watching this DVD I was amaze by all the encryptions on the dollar bill. I knew some of the symbols, but had no clue as to what some of the meanings were. This DVD is clearly amazing. I'm glad I bought it. I used it to give a speech, the topic of course was the Dollar Bill. The audience was stun after the presentation. I couldn't help but feel their reaction because that's how I felt after watching the DVD. Great educational tool.

..except for the fact that Ralph Epperson was part of the program...but we will get back to Epperson later...
"Secrets of the dollar bill " explores some of the ideas behind the symbols that appear on the dollar note, most specificly the two-sided "great seal" that is to be found on the back of every dollar in circulation..
There is no real mystery involved in the"masonic" influences to be found in a number of the symbols both on the dollar bill and in other aspects relating to our"founding fathers"..George Washington, afterall was not only a freemason but both proud and public about it..Many images survive from his lifetime in which Washington wears the masonic apron and/or is shown participating in masonic ritual..Along with Washington a number of other"founding fathers" were also masons,so it should come as no real surprise to anyone that thier masonic training may well have intruded into thier thoughts regarding the new nation and its purpose or,for that matter, may well have been incorporated into the symbols used to define the new nation.
To date no one has produced any reasonable proof that the freemasons are a dangerous or "evil" group, but because they are a closed,by-invitation-only association a number of individuals with a lot of time on thier hands and nothing reasonable or logical to do with that time have decided that the "secret" nature of freemasonry is a cover for some nefarious plot...
Conspiracy author Ralph Epperson was one of the individuals interviewed for this History channel program..Author of a tome ponderously entitled"The New World Order" Epperson has apparently decided that the freemasons threaten the alledged"christian" values of this country...One need only listen to him during this program to see how frightening his conclusions are..

This rather short video (45 min) investigates what's up with the symbolism on American currency.
At least three or four sides interviewed:
- conspiracy theorist (suggesting that symbolism is masonic/occult)
- mason (suggesting that symbolism reflects the spirit of the age when seal was introduced)
- government official (to give snippets of the official story)
- some other person - author of decoding da vinci code (either gnostic, new-ager, pagan, or something similar to that sort of 'spirituality')
- and couple others..

The video is somewhat balanced as to letting all sides being represented. This can be disputed, but even though some comments were blatantly wrong by some persons, I still think it wasn't spoiled that bad, because other sides were given an opportunity to retaliate.

HINT: Christian can NOT be a Freemason and a Freemason can NOT be a Christian. Why is that? For the same reason as why pluralist can NOT be a Christian. These two positions exclude each other. One suggests exclusive religious claims, while other includes other religions.
Both Jesus Christ - the person after whom the Christianity is named, and the his disciples where not pluralist. This is evident by Jesus's claims and dixiples' claims:
a.) Jesus: "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
b.) Peter (and John) while speaking Before the Sanhedrin: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
So, when you hear toward the end of the video that a person says that some of the founding fathers of America were 'Freemasons and good Christians', he says something similar to 'there are square circles'.
Other than that, presented views are somewhat internally consistent (I mean consistent with their own other statements).
