Keeping your books together may seem like an impossible task but now it will appear magical. These magnetic arrow bookends appear to defy gravity while keeping your books nice and tidy. A metal bracket is hidden in the front cover of each end book and the arrows are placed on each end being held by the hidden metal brackets (included). Ages 12 and above. Arrows measure appoximately 3-1/2 by 2-inch.

These came packed in a very small box - fear not, though, they look just like the picture and work well! I love the effect. Keep in mind that you'll need to use paperbacks on each end so that the magnet can hold, and since the support bracket goes inward, under the books, you may want to choose a couple books for each end that you don't use as often. With that in mind, this is a really fun product and I'm very happy with the purchase!

This is a neat idea. I would have expected the arrows to be made of acrylic or a good quality plastic material instead of light opaque plastic. I think the product is over priced. Two metal angles and two plastic arrows for this price... I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this product.

These are super whimsical and cute, just like they appear on the website. But, I did not have luck with them as the magnet was not strong enough to hold through my hard back cookbook covers which is what I wanted the bookends to hold. This would work well on soft cover books - no problem. And, the extra long brackets do a great job of holding the books firmly in place. Note, the arrows are a plastic material. I did not notice this detail when I purchased...they looked like a high gloss material to me on the web site. I didn't feel like they looked as "artsy" in person than they do online.
