Editorial Reviews
About the Author
Rev. Michael J Dangler has been an ADF member since 2001, and finished his Dedicant Work in 2003. Since then, he's been hanging around the ADF e-mail lists trying to help as many Dedicants as he can, and he hasn't figured out how to stop yet. He is an ADF Senior Priest, a Grove Priest for Three Cranes Grove, ADF (which he founded in Columbus, OH), and he serves as the ADF Clergy Council Preceptor and mentor to some Dedicants. You can often find him giving advice on DP submissions, even if (some say especially if) the person didn't ask.

This book is going to have a limited audience, but if you’re in that audience, there is no better or more helpful book. If you’re looking at this book, you’ve either embarked upon the Dedicant Path of Ár nDraíocht Féin or you’re thinking of doing so; in either case, I recommend this book most highly. The Dedicant Path is a very interesting and very thorough program in Druidism, with coursework and homework requirements. ADF is a highly individualistic group, leaving it to the individual seeker to determine their own best approach to their own spiritual path within the framework of their Druidry. As I approached the work, I had a little trouble understanding how best to organize my own approach. I was looking for a little more structure. This book is the tool I needed to help me make the most of my year-long journey, with a schedule and guide for the required work as well as recommended reading and exercises to make the most of your experience. This book is not required for success on the Dedicant Path, but it’s a very helpful tool and one I’d recommend to any serious student of Neopagan Druidry.

I am just beginning my path with ADF, but the book is a great supplement to the DP manual since it gives weekly lessons and recommended readings/homework for each week. I think this book will definitely help give me even more in depth information to enhance my spiritual walk in Druidry.
