Other then that they are holding up perfectly on my truck.
You will need to turn the front wheel in order to drill the third hole, but it wasn't hard. I'm not sure about the rear wheelwell. You might have to jack the truck up and remove the tire temporarily: yes, a bit of a pain but worth it, considering how much Toyota wants for these flaps (over $100 each).
The flap hangs down sufficiently to keep mud off the truck. it's maybe 2" shorter than the Toyota flaps--but those are so long, they get ripped off when you back over a rock (which is probably why you're buying new flaps, right?). It also extends about an inch outside the edge of the wheelwell--not quite as far as the Toyota, but sufficient.
