A group of poor explorers hoping to get rich quickly heads out to recover treasures from some undersea ruins. They're all rivals, but their budgets force them all to share a single rented submarine. In the rented submarine, they alll have to shore a single tank of air, as well. If they don't get back to the sub before they run out of air, they'll drop all their treasure. Now it‘s time to see who can bring home the greatest riches.

Here's why I love it:
Small- If shelf space is a concern, you will love the tiny footprint of this game. It's like a cute little box of chocolates.
Quality- The materials have a nice feel, made of wood and thick card stock. The box has a water proof sheen that gives you confidence dropping it in a bag to take on the go.
Design- Rarely does a game hit the right note between being playful and sleek. I love the color palette, shapes of the pieces, and minimalist aesthetic.
Mechanics - all the rules work well together. Rounds, dropping treasure, hopping players; all create a streamlined game experience.
Theme- The game does a great job of marrying mechanics to theme. As the air meter drops, the drama cranks up and leads to many dramatic finishes where you'll be holding your breath.
Depth of play- This simple little game allows for a surprising number of strategies.
Deep Sea Adventure has me hooked and will keep me coming back for more from Oink Games.
That being said, this game plays in a small area and is quick to play. The components are very nice, and even came already punched out so that you can open the game and immediately play.
To me, this is a $5-10 game, not a $20-30 game.
It's a quick "push your luck" game. We don't usually go for those types of games, but the theme and the game mechanics in this game are really nice, so it's not just throwing dice like in Zombie Dice or other games like that. I recommend it.
