We cannot prepare some students for the past and others for the future. Together, the chapters in this book provide the research, theory, and practical experience that undergird the educational demands for the 21st century. It is a must-read for practitioners, policymakers, parents, students, and everyone in between.
--Ace Parsi, Project Director for Deeper Learning, National Association of State Boards of Education

--Sandra J. Dop, Director of the Competency-Based Education Collaborative, Iowa Department of Education
