From the Inside Flap
In 1988 Ann Druffel, who has researched UFOs for 40 years, discovered a little-known fact that had been drowned in abduction hysteria--documented evidence that people have successfully fended off attack by the "greys," the short, big-eyed aliens now familiar through so much popular media. Using her database of 250 case studies, including 70 "resisters," Druffel has ascertained 9 techniques that witnesses use to ward off alien entities and even break off abductions in progress. And perhaps even more astonishing, this evidence points to the possible true identity of the greys and their link to the abducting entities of myth and folklore.

She speaks a lot about the fairies. I have had dealings with them, and I don't believe they are involved in the type of sophisticated breeding program I have seen. They even wear the same type of raggedy clothes mentioned in the book to this day. I was taught in occult training that fairies were created to tend the earth, and they get really angry when people mess things up. That could certainly be a source of harrassment. I suggest if you have moved to the country and you get harrassed to look around at what you might have done to disturb the earth/environment. That includes looking up the history of the area to see what might have been there and what may still be there that has an effect on anyone living on that particular piece of land. That may help you find your answer.
I appreciate her validating that there are plenty of credible people out there who have had abduction experiences, too many to dismiss the idea. There is a huge web site on the NET called montalk.net that talks at length about aliens and their motives. It also talks about their weaknesses. I tend to agree with the web site owner about their motives. There is such a wealth of information there that I am surprised that it is not better known. The owner has received death threats for putting this web site up.
She talks about how we should forgive the aliens for the things they do, but she doesn't say why. The why is not just to be good, sweet and nice. It's not because of religion. It's because they eat negative energy. The angrier and more upset you are, the more energy they get. That's what they really are after. Robert Bruce, who has been writing books on psychic self defense for years, and who has some really good information, calls them NEGS. I think that's a good description of them regardless of where they are from. They love negativity and try to create as much of it as possible for food.
A friend of mine who was abducted said he saw a huge room with computers operated by mantises. They were manipulating people's lives through those computers, he said. I believe this is true because of many things that have happened in my life that can't be explained any other way. If people could see them in action, they would want to do something about the aliens/NEGS because they are a huge source of problems in this world. Eve Lorgen's books illustrate how they meddle in people's love lives.
I hate how glib the author is about this problem. I guess it's easy to be that way when you yourself have never had these experiences. It's serious, and it has created tragedy in people's lives. In studying this situation it might be a good idea to look at other things in abductees' lives like unexplained broken relationships, bizarre accidents or bizarre near accidents. I recommend that abductees try some of Robert Bruce's method for fending them off and protecting against them. There are many books about psychic self defense, but I like his because he uses modern methods and cuts out some of the ceremonial aspects of the old books.
I have never seen a grey, but the huge eyes described suggest cameras or viewing glasses. In magic they talk about extruding energy from your solar plexus and forming it into something to send out to do your bidding. The description of their eyes and the flimsiness of their bodies suggests that they are being controlled by someone or something that is far away. They probably send them out because they are expendable. I haven't studied that in a while, but I believe you can use them to hurt the sender. Some magicians know how to slam things sent to them that way back. If nothing else, instead of talking to them, talk to whoever sent them. Tell them you know that they are there. I would have no qualms about breaking their necks the way one lady did in the book, as I don't believe they are independent entities. The aliens don't want us to know who they are and where they are, what they are really up to or even that they are there. If everybody knew just how much havoc they are causing, they would be working feverishly to develop ways to repel them. The most comprehensive information I've seen about them is on the Montalk.net web site mentioned above. Everybody who is interested in the aliens should go on it and read lots of articles. The web site is classy and written in a scholarly and intelligent way. It has a book on it called Fringe Knowledge For Beginners which is a good book to read if you are not familiar with the subject of the alien phenomenon.
The idea that they are on a mission to help us seems to me naive. There probably are good ones out there, but they are not the ones meddling in our lives and paracitizing off of us.
What fascinated me about this particular book were the descriptions of the experiences these people had when they supposedly resisted the aliens attempt to abduct them. Everyone one of them reminded me of bad dreams I had in the past when I forced myself to fight in these dreams I woke up. Yes, some of these dreams seemed real as hell as I fought off monsters and evil people; however, once I realized I could actually control my reaction to dreams, I never had any more nightmares. This is exactly what I think most of these so-called abductions seem to be in reality.
I think the entire UFO abduction craze is a myth. If you really think about it, with everyone walking around with dumb (they claim “smart”) phones attached to their ears why after more than 70 years of UFO belief, no one has actually taken a clear photograph of these aliens?
In any case, I found this book amusing and well written even though it is clear the author is a true believer in this mythological subject. As a former police officer and detective I can tell you “eye witnesses” alone are not always reliable, but scientific evidence is always better than any witness. In all these UFO cases I have read over the years, NO ACTUAL SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE HAS EVER BEEN PRESENTED that turned out to be valid in the UFO field. In fact, every time there appears to be some real evidence it turns out to be a hoax.
Anyone interested in the UFO abduction field will no doubt like this book. In fact, the resistance techniques are valid because they work for anyone who has nightmares about monsters and aliens. Just force yourself to wake up and like MAGIC the aliens go away. This always worked for me when having nightmares. This alone is a clue that these experiences are merely bad dreams. This book was a fun read, and even convinced more strongly of my position that these so-called abduction incidents may be only bad dreams not based on objective and scientific reality.
Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Tactical Principles of the most effective combative systems)
And at the same time, a phrase from the film "Terminator II" kept arising in my mind as I read about the different defensive techniques: "delusional architecture." Every single occurrence of one of these abductions sounds identical to a standard-issue, plain old deep dream.
