Seal Team 11 was taken off active duty so the guys, Jake, Angel, Tanner, Mike and Know started a search and rescue business to stay in shape. Angel's girlfriend, Madison also worked with the guys. The other guys had a girlfriend or wife and seemed pretty happy. They were all going out one night and Madison invited her new friend, Veronica. Jake and Veronica got into it in the parking lot and did not like each other right off. While they were eating, they got a call out and rushed back to their office. Veronica showed up saying she was a reporter and wanted to do a story on them so she wanted to go out with them. There was no way they were letting her go out with them. Veronica had to keep coming back around to try and get some information from the guys. Jake ended up being the person who talked to her. You need to read the book to see what happens with Jake and Veronica as well as the team.
I enjoyed the story. Jake was a real crab to everyone at first. Veronica tried to be nice to everyone, but the guys were all leery of her. Madison always tried to give Veronica a chance and they seemed to get along. I love reading Seal stories. I always wish the stories would go on forever! I hate when a book ends. I was given this book for an honest review.

It was nice how the same characters were in each book.
