Update: Though it’s well made , with lot of attention to minute details, there is one minor
Issue. Regardless of the amount of water you use to make coffee, 2.82 oz or roughly 80 grams of liquid will not come out due to the design. This is a minor gripe and please plan accordingly. Your brew recipe will have to be adjusted as needed.

I am a coffee lover . This product is almost a exact replica of bobble’s presse coffee maker except the silicone lid.... This has a nice plastic lid and the whole unit is very well made and leak proof..Even the mesh filter is identical. The presse weighs like 20+ grams more than this one.
It’s travel friendly, double wall insulated, very simple design and easy to clean ...I hope if taken care of properly, this can serve you a nice hot cup of joe for a long time until the rubber gasket wears out...I do see some fines and some sediment at the end of the cup, but it’s to be expected and does not affect the cup quality. Overall a good buy and highly recommend!

Reality is that I do not have a "normal" life, so the glass french press, etc., just does not work for me. Nor the plastic ones, nor the "travel cups". However, this press is perfect for what I need.
Depending on the amount of coffee you use, the press gives 12-15 actual ounces of coffee; the grounds use part of the space - just as with the presses mentioned above. This is based on my use.
The coffee stays hot - not just warm but hot - for many hours. So far, I have finished the coffee before it gets cold, so I cannot tell you an exact number of hours - but is IS hours and it IS hot. That is a great thing.
SUPER-simple to clean.
Does not give any added taste to the coffee. Very compact. I go for deep, dark coffee. And I make it (99% of the time) strong. There is no added flavor, no nothing --- except great, easy-to prepare, good coffee.
Truly compact. Truly a travel companion and it will fit in a handbag, hiking jacket pocket, backpack, glove box in a car.
Planning out my gift list!! Highly Recommend.

I bought this press to use when I travel for my work, but I like it so much, it has become my "go to" at home as well. It is big enough to make a full mug or personal thermos. The parts are well-designed and very well-made, and everything fits exactly. The pressing action is smooth and clean. Clean up is a breeze. I would buy again for myself, and I am considering it for gifts.

NOTE: Many new users of a mug style press are dismayed to find that not all of the liquid coffee presses out. It is a natural and unavoidable characteristic of the design, so you should prepare your expectations accordingly. On the other hand, if you are not also using the press as a mug, you can get most of that last few ounces of liquid out by alternately swirling and pouring several times.

Nice press mug, could be bigger and cheaper

This is my favorite style of press mug, with the cylinder filter insert. I have 2 other brands of this type. This one works the best and is the easiest to clean. I've had no issues. If it were a bit bigger I'd give it 5 stars. I end up using the others more in the house and this one when I'll be in the car. The lid on this is well done and no obscene taste like another brand. I think it's a little overpriced and undersized, but it is well made and does what it's supposed to do and does it well.

This one is built so solid I expect it to last a long time. I brought it camping with me and it made great coffee every morning. I was pleasantly surprised that the exterior was cool to the touch while the coffee stayed hot a long time -- a boon since I am a slow coffee drinker so my coffee usually goes cold before I finish a cup.

I've had a pretty bad experience with this product. I ordered it last fall and it seemed great, but didn't use it until last week. Every time I poured from it, it leaked all over and made a terrible mess. Both my husband and I did tried everything we could to stop it leaking, but we couldn't solve the problem.
Since it's now too late to return it, I will just scrap it and try another similar product.

Good stuff and definitely worth the purchase. An air pocket forms under the screen so the last few ounces gets trapped. You have to lift the filter up and back down to get to it. Also, the closing flap seems like it could break off but has held well so far.
