I truly love books like this that hilariously poke at politicians. I do have to warn you though, don't read this book if you don't have a sense of humor. I'm not a Hillary fan but if you want a funny quick read just to put you in a better mood, then this is the book for you!!
Thank You to John Moe for writing a book that will make you laugh out loud when you are supposed to be quiet!!!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from Blogging For Books!
The format is designed like a correspondence from Hillary to anyone else and then replies back to her. Some of the items include discussion with Barack Obama about her being the next President of the United States, and to Bill Clinton about her retirement party.
This book is amusing no matter what your political affiliation, as we've all heard about this email situation. This book is a quick read and would be fine for reading at the bus stop or even as a bathroom book.
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for writing an honest review. I did not receive any other compensation.
What were the deleted emails? The world may never truly know, but Moe at least sets out to make them sound much more fun than they could have been. Classified files? War documents? Boring! Instead, readers are graced with Hillary's opinions of Scandal and fashionista tips. Moe gives an honest effort in his writing, but falls short of complete success. Worth three, maybe three-and-a-half stars, Moe succeeds with this book just like his Dear Luke work - a unique jab at humor that I just didn't quite get. A for effort, but that alone doesn't make the mark.
Disclosure: I have received a reviewer copy and/or payment in exchange for an honest review of the product mentioned in this post.
