I plugged in the unit and it was recognized by Windows 7. Unfortunately, I couldn't receive FAX's with the Windows 7 faxing program. I tried new drivers for the modem and still no good. I do have another usb modem that *does* work, so I'm fairly confident that this unit was not compatable with my system. I was using an internet protocol line and I suppose this may have contributed to the problem. From what I understand, modems like this work better on a regular telephone line. All in all, delivery was fast and a full refund was given promptly. I have no complaints with my transaction - other than the fact the product didn't suit my needs.

I got this installed on 6-28-13. For someone that is not computer savy it is not easy to install the drivers. I have windows 7 and when you click on the windows 7 it would not go. A friend of mine that works on computers did it and went through the directory on the disc to load. After that it was fine it loaded and the modem works good. I use it for my dial up and can be used to fax.
