The GeForceFX 5200 Series video accelerators are excellent 2D/3D multimedia video adapters for PCI local bus desktop PCs? Based on new core technology, built-in with 128MB DDR memory module, these video cards will provide multiple display outputs onboard for TVout (Analog and Digital) or Dual RGBout (Twin) in optional. As the previously core technology from nVIDIA, the GeForceFX 5200 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) shakes up the gaming industry with its extremely performance, unusual visual effects, and speedy frame rates-injecting life into the artificial world of computer-generated graphics.

My Dad originally bought a similar card for my Dell Optiplex GX270 Mini-Tower from Ken's Computer Store. We accidentally bought a card that would not fit properly on the motherboard. So we emailed the store. They gave us great service and took the card back and replaced it, no shipping costs or anything. So we ended up with this card as the replacement. So, for sure, buy it from Ken's Computer Store!
This card definitely seems to be the best card available for a mini-tower. It runs very quietly and you hardly even notice it running. I'm a big gamer, and this is great for improving performance over an older video card. The best part; it is completely loaded with features! If you enable the Desktop Manager, loads of options become available. These include Window Transparency (i.e. Make Windows Explorer Transparent), Using mouse movements to control the video card's features, taskbar transparency, on-screen buttons that will move an open window from one monitor to another, the ability to run multiple monitors with different programs on each, etc. To sum it up, this card is great for anyone that does not need a lot of video memory, but needs to upgrade from an older one and wants features galore.
