So I will admit right off the bat... my bad. I should have looked at the description better. Obviously not new but still a totally defective product. Not sure who is to blame, the seller or Dell, but Dell really upset me on this one... so I am going with them. I received the computer and everything was perfect... besides the strange piece of cardboard stuck on the edge of the screen? Get all the Microsoft software loaded up and off to work it went. First strange issue that started occurring was that when the computer went to sleep, on some occasions, it would close all the programs and not save any data. Word documents, excel, web pages, all shut down. No recovered files when waking the computer. It was definitely waking from sleep and not shutting down. No files, no web browser tabs, nothing. Next the desktop icons and files would rearrange themselves on occasion on waking up from sleep or restart. I tried using the Dell software to update the drivers in an attempt to fix what was going wrong. Well the Dell support program was in a continually loop. I tried re-installing... nothing changed. Dell software just dead and would not update anything from dell. I tried resetting the entire computer and it looped for 16 hours! So I call Dell and get the most rude response ever from customer service. I gave operator my service tag number and he, I kid you not, yells at me saying that this computer belongs to someone else! He went on a diatribe explaining the age of the computer and naming the individual who owns it. Wow! That was it! Done! I called Amazon immediately. Amazon was really awesome and explained their A to Z to guarantee which is amazing. They stated they notated my issues in my account and would follow-up with me. I am not sure if it was the seller or Dell is to blame here but it really sucked. If dell recycled and sold a used pc keeping the same service tag from the previous owner... that is horrible. If it was refurbished by a 3rd party, well that just did not go well. I still gave it 2 stars because when it was actually working, it was a great pc.
