More screen, less to carry
The virtually borderless InfinityEdge display maximizes screen space by squeezing a 13-inch display in an 11-inch frame. With a bezel only 5.2 mm thin, starting at only 2.7 pounds and measuring a super slim 9-15 mm, the XPS 13 is exceptionally thin and light.
Fully-loaded for enhanced performance:
The latest performance features: New next gen Intel Core processors and higher performing graphics offer speed and reliability. Boot and resume in seconds with the latest solid state drives now with faster PCIe 256 GB and 8 GB of memory.
Advanced docking: The XPS 13 can be used with the newest Dell docking solutions, featuring single-cable connections for power, Ethernet, audio and video. Add the optional Dell Thunderbolt Dock for faster data transfers.
Stunning, state-of-the-art display
Stunning UltraSharp QHD+ resolution (3200x1800): An upgrade gives you eye-popping detail with 5.7 million pixels (276 ppi).
Easy to share: See content clearly from nearly every angle with the IGZO IPS panel, providing a wide viewing angle of 170°.
Brighten your day
400 nit brightness is brighter than a typical laptop panel, so you get a great view, even outside.
Gorgeous colors: See the brightest brights and the darkest darks with a color gamut of 72% and a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Touch friendly: Tap, swipe and pinch your way around the screen. The touch display lets you interact naturally with your technology.
Pinch, zoom and click with precision: The precision touch pad prevents jumping and floating cursors, while Accidental Activation Prevention puts a stop to unintentional clicks when your palm hits the touch pad.
See what you’ve been missing: A standard backlit keyboard illuminates your keys so you can stay productive in low-light or no-light rooms.
More environmentally responsible than ever
Power efficient: XPS 13 is Energy Star certified.
Smarter materials: Free of materials like cadmium, lead, mercury and some phthalates, it’s also EPEAT Gold registered and BFR/PVC-free.
Recycle-friendly: 90% of the laptop’s parts can be easily recycled or reused, and the bamboo packaging trays are 100% recyclable.

The XPS 13 cleverly fits a stunning 13.3-Inch display in an 11-inch size laptop, making the it the smallest 13-inch laptop on the planet. The XPS 13 has a unique virtually borderless InfinityEdge display, with only a 5.2mm bezel on the top and both sides. That's the thinnest frame on a notebook today.

easy on the eyes ;)
picture quality is great,
touch screen works amazingly!
read a lot about the keyboard being too shallow, i don't think so at all.
track-pad is smooth and responsive.
hardware works well (i'm not a gamer so can't comment on gaming)
solid build quality
(everything about this laptop is pretty much top class)
-Webcam is at an odd place (bottom left) if you do a lot of interviews or something a long those lines it could get annoying.
-I've had WiFi issues (windows 10 problem, not hardware), so make sure you update all your drivers and bios from the dell website.
-It is difficult to open the laptop up, will have to use both hands.
Long story short - our friends in Cupertino missed a huge opportunity in thinning the bezels of the 11" Macbook Air, investing the extra space in battery power, and keeping some regular ports. The Dell XPS 13 is a decent successor to my last laptop. There are some things that are great, and others that, for lack of better words, really piss me off. I'm curious to try out a new X1 Carbon and see if my opinion changes.
The screen is gorgeous, and the touch functionality works reasonably well. It's a quick computer, and the keyboard isn't too bad for the form factor (though I feel like I have to push harder on the keys than my work laptop - an HP 820 G3 with a screen bezel the size of Texas). It's nice being able to run Excel in a proper way on a laptop (I'd love to never touch Mac Office again).
There are only two things that really drive me crazy, and they have me on the edge of returning the laptop. First off - the coil whine. When I'm working without ambient noise or music, this is horrible. I'm pretty upset that I spent $1400 on a laptop and it sounds like an irritated robot. The second is power behavior. There is no clear indication that the laptop is sleeping. It kind of sucks to close your laptop, then a few hours later come back to 50% battery. Windows 10's ungraceful sleep/wake behavior probably has a lot to do with this.
[Update 6/26/2017] - Another thing popped up that made it just about impossible to be productive on the laptop. The keyboard ended up "double clicking" the space bar at random - so I would e nd up with sentences t hat look l ike this. Between that, the coil whine, and the mystery power behavior I decided to return the laptop. It's a pity; the screen was gorgeous and I really wanted to like it. X1 here I come..?
UPDATE: Using this for a couple weeks now. Getting consistent 9-9.5hrs per charge. No wireless connectivity issues. The trackpad feel doesn't bother me anymore. I've actually been using the touch screen while taking notes in class, actually quite useful. All in all a beast of a ultrabook. No coil whine on my unit. Upgrading to 5 stars.
This is a fantastic laptop. The screen is incredibly crisp, the bezel is almost non-existent and makes using it on the go a breeze. I am consistently writing papers and the keyboard has plenty of travel, no oddly-placed keys, and the backlit is not too intense.
Until this laptop, I almost always utilized an external mouse. Guess what? Between the smart gestures and the general feel of the trackpad, no longer!
The only con that comes to mind is the camera. Due to the bezel design, the web cam is placed in the bottom right of the screen so when you are in a web call, the camera points up at you (similar to an iPad, or if you were Facetiming and were tilting the phone up). I do not utilize the camera enough to bother me, but if you use a camera a lot, it is something to consider.
It feels like a solid laptop, but is exceptionally light and has all the features I could want. I whole-heartedly suggest this to anyone looking for a laptop.
Word of caution for eGPU proponents:
The USB-C is limited to 2x PCIe so if you're looking for an ultrabook to connect to a eGPU, keep that in mind. This will affect performance, but you are limited to a mobile cpu performance regardless.

headphones into jack ,there was a strange noise in my ears ,probably the driver audio was the problem.
