Having aired my gripe, however, I still consider this an excellent collection of EVERYTHING Austen ever wrote. In fact, it's ONE of the BEST complete Austen ebook collection currently available in the Kindle store. (Most other sets italicize FEWER, and many NONE, of her novels.)
However, an excellent, similarly-priced, complete set is now being offered by Palmera Press in the Kindle store with 5 of the 6 major novels being properly italicized (the exception being "Northanger Abbey"). You may wish to search for it (by typing "Palmera Austen" in the Kindle Store searchbox) to compare it to this Delphi edition. (At the moment, I actually prefer THAT Palmera set.)
As good as this set is, it will be not be PERFECT until the aforementioned two novels receive italics to permit readers to know which words Austen intended to stress. Then THiS will be THE very best Austen ebook set rather than just ONE of two contenders for that honor.
ADDENDUM: Initially published by Delphi in 2011, an updated version 4 appeared in 2012 and version 5 in 2014. Sadly, the same two books STILL lack italics despite subtle corrections in other areas.
Not, a serious problem content-wise, but it would be nice if it were corrected.
The books are wonderful, but I I have two issues.
1. the book size becomes huge and seems to slow down my kindle.
2. I wish they had done a better job with the ToC. They have not made a effort to have a nested Toc for each book. You have the ability to get to the book directly via the Kindle Go To though.

Happier with Delphi than with previous collection. Nice introduction to each novel and far less misprints than other books downloaded. Read morePublished 16 months ago by Barry M
In this electronic age, compilations like this from Delphi which are so inexpensive should be "shelved" where children can browse them on their favourite electronic device. Read morePublished 21 months ago by Ronno
A real pleasure to read Jane Austen stories again. Far better than the tv and films, the books actually tell you how things ended properly.Published on May 30, 2013 by La Fitch
