I've been a satellite radio subscriber since there were only a million or two subscribers. I have listened this entire time on a SkyFi and as soon as it came out, the SkyFi2 which plugs into these docks. I move my radio ALL THE TIME. These have been very durable considering I am undocking and redocking the radio wherever I go. It goes from car to house to garage to the other car nonstop. The power connector is what usually breaks.

The newer docks have only one connection vs two on the older ones and I thought I'd have to buy a new antenna at first. But on inspection I saw the connector was the same and since I do not rely on ground repeaters, all I needed to do was connect the "satellite" wire of my older style antenna to the new dock's port and all was well.

My XM Delphi SkyFi was turning itself off over rough and bumpy roads. I was hoping it was not a switch. I did a bit of research and found this was still available for my sat radio even after all these years. I ordered it and got it installed. It was just what it needed along with a new swivel mount. After so many years of bouncing around, I think the contacts were loose and the radio would just turn off. It's secure in it's new cradle and working fine, even over my dirt roads. Sometimes it just needs replacing. A cheap fix to make my Delphi SkyFi work like brand new.

Exactly as advertised, and it fit my old Delphi SKYFi just fine. The only difference is that they are wired a little differently now and do not use the ground. However, this was easily solved by merely plugging in the old "ANT" line into the cradle and letting the old "GRD" line dangle. Radio works as designed in it. Glad I found this, as the old one broke and I was tired of my radio being OTF* on the console.

I've had an old Clunky XM radio for years and recently my car mount cradle broke at the mount point. So, I ordered a new Delphi SkyFi2 cradle. I took it out of the box and it everything looked the same so I went to hook it up. Everything was going great until I went to hook up the antenna cable. No clip! Just a protruding silver barrel connector. My old Delphi cradle had the same silver barrel but had a pinkish square locking connector around it. Oh well, I pushed on the antenna cable and so far it has stayed and operated just fine.

So, if you have an older style antenna connector perhaps this isn't for you. Or you could just plug it in and it should stay.

I had one of these before, but the antenna connector got broken from stuffing an over sized box in the front floor board. Bought this as a replacement. It securely mounts the SkyFI2 radio when used in conjunction with a bracket purchased elsewhere.

I purchased the holder for my SUV because I was using the original one I had purchased many years ago on my motorcycle and wanted to leave it attached there rather than moving it from vehicle to vehicle.

This cradle attaches to the air vent in the front of the car. It works great, attaches easily, and unlike the windshield suction cup, does not continuously fall off. The price was great too, and arrived at the speed of light!

The cradle may be fine gut it turns out that the problem was in the old adapter. I replaced it with a new on the fit and had the appropriate voltage output. The Belkin F5X005 did not fit this cradle and did not have sufficient voltage output according to the specs on each item
