Pros:
* It's hard to find a (two) bike storage solution that cheaper than this ($50)
* Decent quality and finish (but read on)
* Works on carpeted surfaces (check out the images I posted)
* Can be installed over a heater (with room to spare)
* Arms have padded hooks that hold my Kestrel (with a fairly unusual top bar x-section) OK. I think it'll work with any bike.

Cons: (most have been pointed out in earlier reviews)
* The 2-3 threads for the bolts to hold on to is definitely not enough for this weight bearing construction
* Almost impossible to take the bike off without changing position of the arms
* Arms are too long, thus the bike is too far from the wall taking up substantially more space than it would have taken if it just stood next to the wall without any rack. The other consequence is that the front wheel has too much room to turn, taking even more space. The latter might be more of a problem for front-heavy triathlon bikes, but I'd still watch out for that.
* The top of the rack needs to be chained down to the wall (hardware is provided), but that limits rack's portability (which is not what you'd immediately think after reading Amazon's product description)
* The whole construction is a little bit springy-flimsy ... but I don't think I would have been any happier had I bought something else. I decided on this rack after 2-3 months of looking around ... I guess this is what you get for 50 bucks.

I use this rack in my apartment to keep my bikes away from rain and thieves. I like that this rack requires no wall-drilling and keeps bikes flat against the wall (rather than sticking out like those racks that hang bikes by their front wheels.) I'm very impressed with its stability, considering the rack itself is pretty light. There's only one contact point with the wall, which has a big, rubber end (like the two feet) so it won't scratch or mark. The feet stick to my carpeted floor quite securely, and my guess is that they'd work well on noncarpeted surfaces, too. The hooks that hold up your bike have a generous, rubbery coating, so they won't scratch up your frame. I keep two bikes on the rack, with my regular commuter on the lower one, and the rack is quite stable, even when only the upper bike is on it. For those of you who care, the rack is manufactured in China, so I'm sure Delta's making a fortune, but I had lots of trouble finding a U.S.-made alternative.

After searching for the very best way to store my bike in my tiny condo, I found the Delta bike stand. Super easy to put together. Has a little rubber stopper sort of thing so that your wall doesn't take a beating where the top of the stand rests against it. The best part is that I figured out that I can hang my bike by the rear wheel...vertical instead of horizontal (hanging from from the top 2 red hang hooks) so that it takes up even less space, then I use the extra red hang hooks to hang my wet/sweaty/drying cycling clothes (see product pics I added). Anyway, love this stand, and I use it every day!

I don't easily handout 5 stars for products but I think this one earned it.

Price: was decent when compared to alternatives in the market

Assembly: was a piece of cake (literally.. I had cake while assembling it). It took about 15 minutes. No additional tools needed.

Functionality: We have two bikes (cycle-cross and hybrid). They're not very heavy but are not super light either. I've had my bikes setup on them for a little over a week now and they haven't moved an inch. The included hooks work well and can be easily moved to accommodate different bike frames.

Quality: Feels sturdy and should last as long as we feel like keeping it. The hooks to put the bikes on have good rubber material on them that provides adequate amount of grip to keep the bikes from sliding.

I installed the optional wall screw just to give me peace of mind but honestly, I don't think it needed it. Leaning against the wall combined with the weight of the bikes, it's been rock solid.

I'm glad I went with this one over others and would highly recommend it.

I was skeptical about this stand, but is actually a great product. If you have common sense and/or understand basic english, you can construct this thing in 10 minutes. I love that it saves so much space because I am now able to stack two road bikes on top of each other. It's been holding for about three weeks and hasn't fallen down, yet! Very happy.

This was the second bike rack I ordered for my apartment. I was looking for something that I did not have to attach to the wall in order to use. While I see the reason to secure it to the wall with the strap, especially/definitely if you have children, it can survive without it. I just have to be careful taking the bike down. It was super easy to put together and maybe took me 20minutes. The coating is a nice silver and arrived very well packages, so no scratches, dings etc. The arms are a rubber coated red. I like red, so that works for me. I have a fairly heavy cruiser and the arms appear to be holding it well. No sliding, no tipping, etc... I only put my one bike on it though. I don't think with a bike my size that I could have put two. The rack comes with four regular size hooks and two smaller ones, which I am using to hold my detachable basket and helmet. I think my bike looks cool hanging out in my apartment now, instead of feeling like I've shoved a dirty bike up against a wall. I'll include some photos, so that can give you an idea of what it looks like with the cruiser.
