For Reference on the multi-generational title: My niece and nephew who has played this game with us are 8 and 6. I am 27 years old. My father is in his mid-60s, but his oldest sister is in her late 70s. His mother was married in 1930. The 2 sets of Tri-Ominos that my parents have at home belonged to her. They are still kept in the two Crown Royal bags that once covered the liquor bottles. The tiles have held up after all these years, and many, many nights of play! I remember playing with my whole family on rainy nights when I was very young, maybe 3 or 4 years old. And teaching my niece and nephew how to play has been a joy! It's a great game to help my older niece learn her strategy in looking ahead to future moves she could make, and it's wonderful in teaching and reinforcing my nephew his numbers and matching skills! And anytime you can find a game where 3 or 4 generations can sit around a table and play together and still have fun is always a good mark in my book!

Although this says it's a toy it's actually more for my husband and I to play. Our old Triomino game was getting a bit worse for wear so did an internet search and found this game. It was actually better than I thought it would be. Comes in a nice solid tin container instead of the beat up cardboard box we had. If anyone is looking for a TRi-Omino game, I'd recommend this one.

I have played this game for years. I needed to buy new and better set. Tri-Ominos requires
more attention than Dominos and is great fun for adults. The quality of this set is very
good at a great reasonable price.

This Deluxe Tri-Ominos set is exactly what I was looking for! They are solid, heavy and made from Crystalline. The bonus is that I ordered it yesterday and it was delivered TODAY! I know what we are doing tonight :)

Last month we played Tri-Ominos for the first time with friends and liked the game so much I bought it locally and was very disappointed to find that they were made of plastic and were hollow.

Tri-Onimos is a novel concept and I was excited to try it with my family. We love playing games and love conventional Dominoes, so this game had a natural appeal to us.

The product is well made and well packaged. The Tri-ominos come in a metal tin and are sure to last for years and years of use. Everything about the set is quality.

However, the gameplay left me desiring more. While the concept seemed like a nice change of pace, it slows down the game and makes it overly complicated. Rather than matching up your pieces with a single already-played number (as in old-fashioned Dominoes), you are now obligated to simultaneously match your pieces to at least 2 (sometimes 3) numbers that are already in play, and have them fit in the configuration in which they are laid on the board. While I am not intimidated by the mental challenge of this, I found that the gameplay really gets slow based on the limited number of playable options. This gets especially true when playing with 4 players, when the Tri-ominoes are divided 4 ways. The game involved a lot of waiting for people to lay down a piece.

I don't hate it, but I would rather play with conventional Dominoes, honestly. The original was hard to beat; rather than toiling to find a playable piece, I can focus on playing things that score the highest.

I'm giving Tri-ominos 3 stars for "It's okay."

We have had 3 different versions of this game and this one is the BEST- the pieces feel very good in the hand; the tin box is great for storage. One of the pieces was defective and the company did not hesitate to send us a replacement piece (no charge). If you like board games this is a good addition to your collection.

My wife and I play Tri-Ominos frequently. We discovered after many games that one piece was missing and one was duplicated! How many matches were won by my wife due only to this error I can not say, but she won quite a few! Well, even after we hand-wrote the correct numbers on the duplicated piece, she still wins a lot...

My children received this for Christmas and have enjoyed playing it. I love how this game came with black stands to hold the players pieces while they play. The tin is strong and holds all the game pieces with room to spare. My only grip on this game, is each triangle piece has a gold raised circle in the center, and the gold paint has started to chip due to having the pieces mixed up before playing and rubbing on the surface they are mixed up on.
