Stopping the Eden group of Free Communities and Neutral States are the typical self-centered, power driven agents. Some of the players that were supporting Eden have their own agendas and start to take actions based upon their own agendas.
A couple of surprise plot twists make this a book hard to put down. I just got this on 10/2 finished it, purchased the next edition (The Reaper Plague) on 10/3, finished that today and just downloaded The Orion Plague and the Cyborg Strike for uninterrupted reading over the weekend. A series that is flowing very well. Developing all of the characters and introducing new ones as the plot twists happen.
Now I just need some rainy weather so I can have an excuse to read over the weekend instead of cutting the grass... :).
Again, I am not knocking the actual content (even though it would be nice if there was to be a conclusion at some point) but the value of the content.
Best of luck to the author, but I think I am dropping out of this cash cow for the time being.
Every time a playing field is leveled and new teams emerge, the bullies will show up. And they did. Glad to see some past characters and poor Jill. If I was her I'd give up working with teams and go solo like Skull. Skull? As always, Skull is just being himself and doing his thang! Just now he's a superhero. Ha!
The engrossing characters continue to grow in personality.
The editing of this book is the best of all the e-books I have read.
Can't wait to see what Skull has in mind. And Spooky... well, what to say about him? Guess he's 'gone off the reservation'.
I was tempted to only give it four stars, but I couldn't bring myself to hold Vandyke accountable for a few editing flaws when I already ordered 'The Reaper Plague'. Yes. It is that compelling.
