I have now gone through this book twice. I greatly enjoyed it the first time, and I liked it even more the second. It is a valuable overview of a complex field. It provides an organizational framework, lays out the issues clearly, and is highly readable.

While this book doesn't go into extensive detail about its ideas and methods, it does a great job of covering a lot of ideas and suggestions. It breaks things down simply, while still respecting the fact that there is no quick and easy solution to training an organization to learn.
