In the preorder description, it mentioned that it comes with a bonus edition soundtrack. I was expecting a collection of the game's song or even the main theme song "Belief". Unfortunately the CD comes with 6 songs. Another thing I was disappointed when adding the songs in my ipod, was that they were all combined into one whole song; you can not listen to them separately. Here is what the bonus CD includes and the time length:
Fighting Climax Instrumental (Opening Song)- 0:00-0:36
Envoy of Hope (Character Select)- 0:37-1:44
Ruin and Salvation (Valkyria Chronicle Stage Daytime ver.)- 1:45-3:46
Abyss (Shinobi Stage)- 3:47-5:41
Higher Higher (NiGHTS Stage)- 5:42-7:17
Seaside B-Field (Sonic the Hedgehog Stage)- 7:18-9:43
Overall, this game is really fun for players who fighting games and watches anime or read the light novels. I highly recommend it if you want to play as your favorite characters. The preorder gift was very disappointing and you might as well just get this game without the CD and just save up for the official game soundtrack that includes all the songs.
Dengeki Bunco Fighting Climax is a 2D Fighting game developed by : French Bread, Ecole Software and published by Saga the game was made to cerebrate 20 years of Dengeki Bunco Light novel series. The game features 14 playable characters from anime/Light Novels Taiga from Toradora Kuroyukihime from Accel World Misaka from A Certain Magical index and many more. The also has 23 assist characters which include Ryuji Takasu From Toradora Accelerator from A Certain Magical index Touma who is also from A Certain Magical index Haru from Accel World and lots more. the game is is fairly simple with have 3 types of attack light attack square medium triangle and strong circle the game also meter bars that you can stock up to use for enhanced moves or supers the controls however are written in the arcade controls so you may have to go into the control setting to figure which button is which A is Square B is triangle Circle is C and S is X which lets you call in your support character. For moves that both use Square and circle at the same time or square triangle circle com be changed to the R2 L2 R1 L1 making it easier to input move and supers. Also the game features what is known as Trump Cards having two types one that deals heavy damage to your opponent while another type of trump card acts as an enhancement for some characters booting attacks or an extra weapon for a small period of time. The games modes are Arcade which has you do 9 battles and a small story Dream Duel which has various characters talk and fight to each other and it is one of the great parts of the game also there is training mode to practice characters and combos with Network mode which has two modes Ranked and Player match but for some reason i found myself getting kicked out of rooms a lot so just giving you a little heads ups. with rank been your standard points where if you win or lose you go up or down. Also the game has a customize made which lets you change your characters color and plate to customize online the soundtrack is composed of sagas titles with tracks from sonic the hedgehog and others over all it's sounds nice and fits in with the game really well. The only Negative thing i can really say is that the character is a bit small would lave been nice if they could have added maybe 2 or 3 more in there. If you are a fighting veteran and are looking for something complex Dengeki Bunco Fighting Climax may not be for you as it is rather a more simple type of fighting game that welcomes new comers and people who like fighting game in general. the Bonus CD Soundtrack features some of the games music with a total of 6 track but for some reason the CD i got had all the song put together as 1 track which is odd it's a nice little thing. Now for the differences in both the physical and digital 1st the leader boards are different the European digital copy only has 100 on the rankings where as the US physical disc has over 1000 players on the rankings which i don't understand as to why there are two different leader boards possible because of region. another thing i can point out is for example like myself who owned the digital 1st if you have a save file and try to use it with the physical disc it wont work user will have to start a new save file on the disc. there are the differences personally i would say if you thinking of downloading it from Europe i would say import a copy of the US Version of the disc as you will have way more people on the ranking and you can take the game with you where ever you go rather then just having on your ps3 and over all i think physical disc is better to sum it Dengeki Bunco Fighting Climax is a sample yet brilliant anime fighting game with a lot to enjoy here more so if you are a fan of the anime or light novels the characters are from though it can get quite changing at some points more so when it comes to the online however i wish that a few more characters were added but the fact that it was not even priced at 60$ makes this game all the sweeter this game will sure give you hours of fun.
