I've had this receiver for about 3 weeks now. I have my tv, ps4, DirecTV, desktop computer, Outlaw Audio sub and amplifier plugged into it. I use the ARC HDMI inputs on the receiver and the tv and I really like that feature. When I turn on the satellite, everything comes on including the tv, receiver and amp. I like that.I use a separate Outlaw Audio 5 channel, 120 watt per channel power amp with the pre-outs instead of wiring the speakers directly to the receiver. My last Denon receiver was the 3312ci in 2012. I bought the amp a year ago and hooked it up to that receiver and it sounded better so I did the same thing here. The receiver is now basically a glorified processor. It still has 2 channels I could use the receivers interior amps to power the 6th and 7th channels or Atmos if I wanted to.I don't use the Audesey room correction setup either. I have in the past but I prefer to do a manual setup with a decible meter app and a tape measure.I don't stream anything with it but it connected to my home wifi easily. I assume any updates will download but it doesn't matter. It works great as it is.With streaming movies, Blu-rays, video games and the satellite TV, everything works flawlessly, switches between inputs quickly and sounds great. I can't get the computer to show any video but I hear sound. I've tried connecting it directly to the tv but same thing. Somethings wrong with the computer. Again. Not Denon's fault. Or Vizios.I use the X3200W as the heart of my system. Everything goes through it and it handles everything perfectly. The Bluetooth is only a RECEIVER though, it won't TRANSMIT to wireless headphones. I had to order a Bluetooth transmitter for that and now it's working great as well.It runs cool since the Outlaw amp handles the power and it never gets hot. My front (large bookshelf speakers) and center channel speakers were hand made by a company in Phoenix 18 years ago in 1998. They cost $600 a pair, $400 for the center, and they still sound excellent so I can't justify replacing them. I use Polk Audio Tsi 200s for the rears. They're fully capable of being fronts as well, but my old ones still sound quite a bit better. The company was called Speakers Etc. They went out of business long ago. Too bad. Can't find places that still make them by hand anymore.I recommend adding an amp to your receiver if it has pre-outs. It noticeably upgrades the sound quality. I also replaced all my 14 gauge speaker cable with 12 gauge pure copper, ofc cable. I had that CCA, copper clad aluminum and didn't even realize it. I used the new receiver with the amp for about 2 weeks till I tackled the arduous job of replacing all the wire. It still sounds great and actually seems to sound better. Since it took about 6 hours to do, I'm not sure if it's all in my head, but I'm happy about it anyway. I also use a monster HTS 3600 power line conditioner. I bought 2 in 2012 because they were half price. I unpacked this one last March so it's as good as new. Clean power, pure copper cables, decent interconnects and the sound is as good as I'm going to get it without hiring a calibrator. My system ought to be good for another few years at least.
