I've been waiting for this second book to come out for what seems like years....but it's only been a few months! The thriller continues for Chaos and Solomon. And when I say, thriller...I mean some heart pounding, dark, terrifying scenes that make me wish I could do something to save these strong characters. It's probably safe to say, do not read this before bed. The terrifying thing is that some of the things in this book are taken from true events. Lucian writes as if you are going through these things WITH the characters. I felt in and out of consciousness as the emotions where taking hold of me. Sometimes I just had to stop and collect myself before continuing. Yes, it was that powerful! Will Solomon and Chaos EVER escape this nightmare? Will love conquer? Questions about those surrounding Solomon and Chaos creep into this story and I was left suspicious of everyone. The ending....WOW! All I can say is "bring on the 3rd book Mr. Bane!"

With Desecrating Solomon II we're back where we left off in the eerie, creepy town of Weston and it's imposing asylum. Solomon and Chaos are in the hands of the Master and it is a terrifying, skin-crawling place to be. Everything is a bad as you had hoped it wouldn't be and then it gets worse.

As always, Lucian Bane takes you by the throat and shows you what he wants you to see and even if you want to look away you can't. On the page, he builds a story that you can touch, taste and smell. You are in the minds of his characters as if they are inhabiting your skin. You feel what they feel, cry when they cry, hurt when they hurt, love as they love. For all the extraordinary circumstances and experiences that his characters go through you can still sympathize with and understand them. Solomon and Chaos are very real and their emotions ring clear and true.

Since this is part two of three, we are left with more questions than answers. A final showdown is coming that I, for one, can barely stand to wait for. Luckily, Lucian for all his twistedness is a benevolent soul to his readers and is only making us wait until March.

Where to begin...to say that I'm blown away is an understatement! I sit here trying to write this review through a sheen of tears. OMG...my heart is aching for Chaos and Solomon. When a story can make you feel EVERYTHING and so deeply, you know you've found not only an amazing story but an amazing piece of writing. The terror I felt was so real!! I was shaking and crying. Glad I was alone so I didn't worry my family.
My heart is still racing! Only a few books have made me feel this much fear. Those books were written by Stephen King. But one thing that was very different was the love and passion that I felt between Chaos and Solomon. The ability to have a love story amongst so much horror is a truly unique ability. Chaos and Solomon's willingness to put the other's wellbeing before their own...well that's true love!! THANK YOU Mr. Bane for writing such an AMAZING tale. It could not have been easy, but I truly appreciate you doing it!!

Lucian you sly man, you've done it again. Book two was even more disturbing than the first. Solomon went through the ringer on this one. Instead of gabbing about how amazing your writing is and how I can't wait for the final installment I decided to instead put you through the same emotional torture that I felt.

The five stages of grief: Desecrating of Solomon II style.

1. Denial - Did that really just happen to Solomon?
2. Anger - I wanna break my foot off in the Master's face.
3. Bargaining - Please don't let anything else happen to Solomon
4. Depression - I am so sad about what happened to Solomon
5. Acceptance- I guess this really just happened to Solomon

Five stars

I stayed up all night reading this, I couldn't put it down lol. This story is gritty and dark but the romance between the main characters is like your ray of light in the darkness lol Seriously I love Solomon and Chaos, I was holding my breath at certain parts lol It does have scenes of violence and torture so be warned. It also has some steamy scenes as well ;) I'm eagerly awaiting the final book in the series which I think will be out sometime in March 2016.

Inspired by true events!!!!!!! Worst torture I've ever read,,,IT scared the crapppppp out of me. Solomon is almost dead, but wakes up and wants some sexy time. (MEN)#####. Master Basterd is the leader of the town cult. They think Solomon's sacrifice will cleanse the evil in this town. This series is amazingly written, with suspense, torture, on the run and action. You will not be able to put it down!!!!### AWESOME#### Read at your own risk....SCARY SHCRAP....
