Lucian Bane you blow my mind with your writting. I can not even begin to describe the torment that this book put me thru.
Lucian has such an amazing way of writting that it pulls you in and you get so caught up in the story that you can't put it down. Everytime I read one of his books I can't put it down until I'm finished.
You are pure genius Lucian Bane. I 💜💜💜 all of your books so far. Can't wait to finish #3.
If you like books that take twist and turns and have you hanging by the edge of you seat screaming WTF? Then this series won't dissapoint. Read it that's all I can say.
The five stages of grief: Desecrating of Solomon II style.
1. Denial - Did that really just happen to Solomon?
2. Anger - I wanna break my foot off in the Master's face.
3. Bargaining - Please don't let anything else happen to Solomon
4. Depression - I am so sad about what happened to Solomon
5. Acceptance- I guess this really just happened to Solomon
As always, Lucian Bane takes you by the throat and shows you what he wants you to see and even if you want to look away you can't. On the page, he builds a story that you can touch, taste and smell. You are in the minds of his characters as if they are inhabiting your skin. You feel what they feel, cry when they cry, hurt when they hurt, love as they love. For all the extraordinary circumstances and experiences that his characters go through you can still sympathize with and understand them. Solomon and Chaos are very real and their emotions ring clear and true.
Since this is part two of three, we are left with more questions than answers. A final showdown is coming that I, for one, can barely stand to wait for. Luckily, Lucian for all his twistedness is a benevolent soul to his readers and is only making us wait until March.
My heart is still racing! Only a few books have made me feel this much fear. Those books were written by Stephen King. But one thing that was very different was the love and passion that I felt between Chaos and Solomon. The ability to have a love story amongst so much horror is a truly unique ability. Chaos and Solomon's willingness to put the other's wellbeing before their own...well that's true love!! THANK YOU Mr. Bane for writing such an AMAZING tale. It could not have been easy, but I truly appreciate you doing it!!
