As always, Lucian Bane takes you by the throat and shows you what he wants you to see and even if you want to look away you can't. On the page, he builds a story that you can touch, taste and smell. You are in the minds of his characters as if they are inhabiting your skin. You feel what they feel, cry when they cry, hurt when they hurt, love as they love. For all the extraordinary circumstances and experiences that his characters go through you can still sympathize with and understand them. Solomon and Chaos are very real and their emotions ring clear and true.
Since this is part two of three, we are left with more questions than answers. A final showdown is coming that I, for one, can barely stand to wait for. Luckily, Lucian for all his twistedness is a benevolent soul to his readers and is only making us wait until March.
My heart is still racing! Only a few books have made me feel this much fear. Those books were written by Stephen King. But one thing that was very different was the love and passion that I felt between Chaos and Solomon. The ability to have a love story amongst so much horror is a truly unique ability. Chaos and Solomon's willingness to put the other's wellbeing before their own...well that's true love!! THANK YOU Mr. Bane for writing such an AMAZING tale. It could not have been easy, but I truly appreciate you doing it!!
The five stages of grief: Desecrating of Solomon II style.
1. Denial - Did that really just happen to Solomon?
2. Anger - I wanna break my foot off in the Master's face.
3. Bargaining - Please don't let anything else happen to Solomon
4. Depression - I am so sad about what happened to Solomon
5. Acceptance- I guess this really just happened to Solomon
The love between Chaos and Solomon is soul touching and beautiful .
All I can think of now is ....please stay safe Solomon and Chaos . Don't let them get their hands on either of you again . You both deserve love and God will help you .
Lucian , you are amazing . You write beautifully and are truly gifted . Thank you for this amazing story .
Highly recommend to everyone . You will not be disappointed . Go now and read this thrilling story.

Tread lightly folks, it definitely is not a story for the queasy or softer side of the emotional spectrum and has trigger moments that definitely need a warning label. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Louisa Gray - The Sassy Kiwi
