We purchased these to put under one of our broody hens that kept laying eggs and sitting on them. Since we don't have a rooster, the infertile eggs would rot and we had to keep crawling under the pool deck and getting them out of her nest.
We purchased one dozen eggs. Packaged arrived with 12 eggs. All intact - none cracked or broken. We put them under the hen the evening they arrived. 3 chicks hatched on day 20 and 4 chicks hatched on day 21. None hatched on day 22. Momma hen abandoned remaining eggs on day 22. One hatched chick did not survive. One egg was rotten. One egg had a fully developed chick but did not hatch for some reason - chick was dead. One had a developing chick but it was about about 6 days behind the others in development - was still living. Overall, I thought it was a tremendous success.

We had three incubators in our classroom. Two contained the Fertile Hatching eggs. One contained eggs from a local farmer. Only one of our two dozen eggs we bought from this site hatched. Most never developed. The incubator from the local farm hatched over half their eggs. All three were maintained the same way. When the box arrived eight eggs were broken in transit.

I have hatched chicken and duck eggs with my kindergarteners for years. I have always gotten my eggs locally, but the hatch rate leaves much to be desired. I thought by ordering them online this time I might get better results. The 12 eggs arrived. All were carefully packaged. One egg was double-bagged and it was cracked, which leads me to believe that it had a crack when shipped and was double bagged in the hope it wouldn't get worse. It got worse. With a new incubator carefully calibrated, we waited for the remaining 11 eggs to hatch. Sadly, only 3 hatched. The kids are thrilled with our chicks and can't wait to interact with them. Of the 9 unhatched eggs, most were infertile and two developed only partially. I think a hatch rate of at least 50% is not unreasonable, especially since this is a business specializing in hatching chicks.

As others have said, these were very well packaged. Are all arrived in good condition. Not all of them hatch but that’s OK. They did come early so they started hatching on day 19 and 20. I don’t know what breeds we have but I do know that we out of the nine we have two roosters and the rest are hens!!

For the price, I expected a higher success rate.
Do your homework and read the reviews, I definitely won’t order from this site again.

I ordered a dozen eggs to hatch with students and happily received 16. None were cracked so we set up 2 incubators. Unfortunately, there was no packing slip, so we had no clue on the breeds and decided to be surprised. On day 20 we had our first pip and day 21 4 more! All 5 are healthy!! I always wait to clean out the incubator just in case there are stragglers. I am glad I waited because on day 25 I was getting ready to clean it out when I saw an egg wobble and thought I heard something. Day 26 3 more pips...yes, we have 3 duck eggs, which I wasn't expecting. I feel horrible because we did not maintain the humidity like we should and they struggled. I know that the description says fertile eggs and you show a photo of ducks. Please be sure to include what is included with the packing slip, so others know to incubate 21 days or 28 days. 50% hatch rate is not bad for mail order.

5 hatched I don’t know how egg hatching works nor if that is a good rate. But they were still super cute I just bought another set for my mom . Got the second set spice tigers best provider ever I cannot wait my mom is so stroked. They are so healthy too. The eggs were shipped awesome this time none broke. LOVE IT.
