Dawn Brolin’s Designated Motivator comes at a time when we all could use a little positivity and motivation! She brings you into her world of being a designated motivator with genuine stories and contagious humor, and then offers concrete action steps to become your own. Her writing style is authentic and moving. Collaborating with her teammates, family, students, clients, and colleagues by bringing their words into the book serves to magnify the impact. I found myself laughing one moment, only to feel the tears streaming wet, down my face and finally, the goosebumps during a certain poignant passage- my favorites include the part about leaving people better than you found them and the section on building trust and motivation in the workplace. Dawn magically transfers her real-life energy and vivacity to the page with uncanny ability. Having personally seen Dawn in action, I can say that she practices what she preaches. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pick-me-up in life. Let's bring this movement #MotivationMovement to life!
