About Desiree DeMond

I grew up in Washington DC, the daughter of a diplomat. I married shortly after graduating from school. We lived in several locations around the mid-Atlantic region, but moved to the south late in life. I have lived in Manteo, NC for the past few years, enjoying the southern life and hospitality of small town America. After losing my husband to cancer in 2017, I embarked on a spiritual and emotional journey, settling on the catharsis of writing to guide my spirit. I have always loved the romance, thriller genre and my love of the Outer Banks has been a lifelong affair. Join me on the journey.
