My kids & hubby LOVE Despicable Me (1,2, & now 3). I like it too, but not as much as they do... my favorite part is that if I let them watch the movie, it keeps them busy so I can clean the floor, do some laundry, etc. :)

DM3 is a great continuation of the other 2 movies & it makes sense... you know how some movie sequels come out & they don't make sense together?! This one DOES & it does NOT disappoint with HILARIOUS minion antics, adventure, & humor. Each one is just as good as the other, in our opinion. We were all cracking up & the kids wanted to watch it again... and again... and again. After round 2, I had to say no more for a while, but had I not stopped them, they would probably still be sitting there with glazed over TV eyes. Good things for moms, dads, etc. to prevent kids from rotting their brains & watching a movie for the 3rd time in one day.

GREAT family friendly movie withOUT all of the trash in many "family friiendly" movies out there!

We WOULD purchase this, though this time we rented it through Amazon Prime because we had sick kids & wanted to see something we had not all seen before without having to drive through snow covered roads to get a movie.

Despicable Me 3 is lacking something. As someone who loved the first two movies, I could buy the delusional former child star becoming a super-villain because it certainly fits the mold of the sort of cheesy over the top villain of the first two. But the family element of this movie just didn’t connect with Grew and Drew and seeming uncertain face and heel turns and it felt like they didn’t even need to go there. The endearing family element seemed way toned down as well.

That said, I did enjoy the 1980’s musically themed dance fight scenes and the Minions are the minions. But I didn’t really have the laugh out loud experiences that I had with the first two movies. Those moments are so rare when you reach a certain age that when they aren’t there, it’s unfortunate. I wish I could be more descriptive about where things went wrong for me, but I can’t be certain since the story itself wasn’t a bad idea, execution was lacking.

Hilarious movie - the best of the three thus far. Story was great, animation was spectacular and 3D was on point. It's great that the Despicable Me movies have been around for over 7 years but the voices remain the same. They had to change the voice actor for Agnes since she's no longer a young kid but the guys over at Illumination did a great job of voice matching to another child VA. Anyways if you're a fan of the 80's music and trivia you'll love this movie since the main baddie (voiced by Trey Parker) is a child wash-out from that time frame. Highly recommended. Import this if you can.

There was a lot missing in this 3rd foray into the realm of Despicable Me. It just wasn't anywhere nearly as funny as 1 or 2. It was just OK for me. I had belly laughs in the first two. That was seriously missing in this one. Many cut parts, but...well...let's hope there won't be a Part 4.

I don't care for the minions and I especially am not a big fan of sequels. This one is definitely the stereotype of a bad sequel.

My kids have zero good taste in anything so they liked it anyway.

Pretty funny. Not a s good as the first one, or the second one. But still had some really funny moments.

If you have a boy between the ages of 7 and 13 they will laugh for 90 straight minutes. If you like period dramas and don't like bathroom humor, this is definitely not the film for you.

First two movies were entertaining and we laughed a lot. This third one is a bit ridiculous not that funny seems that really aren't entertaining are stretched on and on. Don't rent it wait until it's free with prime because it's a waste of money
