In fact, we find ourselves aboard a cruise ship attending Jessica's wedding to Benjamin Roth?, Yes, really. Now, if you haven't read the first novel in the series 'How to Bake a Murder,' you might not understand why I said, Roth??? So, I suggest you do read the book. Then jump right into the ocean with me and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy this novel.
This is a wonderful cozy murder mystery. Pets, and crooks, and heroes come out of the woodwork, ok, closets...galore!
The crime is shocking but justice is cheering and I did cheer! The epilogue has me anxious for the next volume to see what the team has to face in the future...down those stairs...
A great warm cozy murder. Just what I enjoy!
They have all been invited to take a cruise to celebrate the wedding of Jessica (her husband was the killer in book 1) and of all people Benjamin (who still doesn't have much of a personality) and Cookie and her granddaughter baking a "ship cake". While this was to be a joyous occasion for all, the party turns to finding a killer when Meredith's husband Joseph is murdered.
There are two parallel story lines in this book, Cookie not sure where the relationship with Jerry is going and finding who killed Joseph. The story-line is good just wish Cookie wasn't so unsure of things in her life and have more confidence in her strength
