Blog postPhoto Credit: Cottonbro I’ve had to say no to many people, situations, things, obligations, and decisions.
We all have.
For some of us, the problem is that we struggle with saying “No,” which gets us in trouble emotionally, mentally, and physically.
The truth is, we all could probably use the phrase “no” a little more in our lives. It will save us stress, bitterness, unhappiness, anxiety, and trauma.
Sometimes, I still fear saying “no” to people because of the rep3 weeks ago Read more -

Blog postPhoto Credit: Tran There is always change occuring in our lives. Some of us experience more change than others at different points, but change is constant.
Something else is as constant as change, though, and that is time. As changes come and go, so does time.
None of us know how much time we have left, yet, we act as if we do.
I’ve been thinking more and more to myself lately:
What does Destiny want to do?
Do my goals align with my heart and soul?

Blog postPhoto Credit: Nappy Don’t stop fighting for what you want. Believe it to be possible. Don’t give into rejection. Don’t give in to the naysayers. Don’t give in to mediocrity. Go for it. Make a wild and passionate run for your goals. What do you have to lose? And if you do have something to lose, think about what you have to gain. And if you happen to quit, get back in the ring.
We are the only barriers between where we are and where we desire to be.

This documentary popped up on Netflix, and I thought to myself:
I’m not going to watch this, especially on a Saturday.
But something in me told me to give it a shot. In fact, I watched three trailers to confirm I wanted to watch it. 90% of the time, when I watch a trailer for a film or show, I don’t2 months ago Read more -
Blog postPhoto Credit: Rivunk I saw a woman several months ago at a store I often visited. The last time I saw her, she was looking for another job; she knew it was time to pivot and make a career change. She was excited about a new adventure, new opportunities, and change.
Today, I visited that same-store I used to frequent so often, and I was surprised to see her. In fact, I was disappointed. I knew how much she had desired to leave the store, yet, she was still working there almost a whole y3 months ago Read more -
Blog postPhoto Credit: Thiago Matos (Pexels) Today, I took my car to the shop expecting something to be broken or in need of repairs, but I was wrong. My car repairman told me he wished he could find something to fix, but the car is in excellent condition, and everything looks great.
Still, I had doubts. So, I responded with gratitude and asked, “What about the repairs you said my car would need last time I came in for a visit?” He responded, “It looks like everything checks out this time, and3 months ago Read more -
