The book has me excited to create some content! Excellent instruction here!
For those who have not absorbed and incorporated his first book, he summarizes what he discussed:' Powerful idea-generating methods that unleash creativity, How to brainstorm and reinvent to create original products that excite clients, Ways to research ideas to avoid wasting time on products no one will buy, And simple, highly effective ways to develop content.'`Everything you create should be focused on helping people achieve a goal' - and that is Tom's mission here. He shares his technique - `Explain a single step as clearly as possible, Demonstrate the technique involved, Discuss tips to make the technique easier, Offer an exercise that allows the student to learn by doing, and Encourage the student to take action before moving forward.' With these measure he shows us how to deliver our content successfully.
His types of content are written, graphics, audio, and video and for each of these he outlines development construction, and deliver - with an emphasis on the latter!
So how does Tom do this so successfully? A glance at his sections gives a strong hint: Developing Written Content, A Note About Outsourcing, Creating Graphic and Image Content, Introducing Canva (a free tool for basic graphic work0, Creating Audio Content (using Audacity, a free digital audio editor), Creating Video Content, Creating Screen Capture Videos (Video Sales Letter Overview, Creating a VSL in Pages and Keynote, Creating a VSL in Word and PowerPoint, Adding Music to VSLs and Other Videos), Slide Presentation Videos, On-Camera Video/ Sound, Video Hosting, Content Examples, Mapping Content Delivery, Creating a Content Development List, and The Path Forward.
At each step Tom opens windows of possibilities to polish content delivery by staying real, focused, humorous, not wasting a moment of our time, and proving more `ins' and tricks than we ever thought possible. An EXCELLENT book, this, Grady Harp, April 15
