Well designed action bashfest

The 4th in the DMC saga, this one is an entertaining and overall enjoyable gaming experience. The story is adequate for a DMC game; this is not great or highly imaginative writing, but it gets the job done well enough to move you along from point A to point B. The sound is very much in the vein of its predecessors, a mix of hard, heavy metal combined with elements of electronic music. Think Rob Zombie here, with a few orchestral touches now and again. Its appropriate for the setting and the material at hand, although large sections will be largely forgettable if not tiring to the ear. The visuals are quite nice, again about what you would expect after playing DMC3. The controls for this game are very tight, very responsive, and require quite a bit of finesse to master. The gameplay is always where DMC games shine and this is no exception. This installment sees the player splitting gameplay time between the familiar Dante and newcomer Nero, who plays a bit differently. In a way the game is reminiscent of Onimusha 3 in that to really master the game, you will need to become proficient at both Nero and Dante's unique style of fighting. Nero has a demon arm used to grapple with, providing an interesting push/pull mechanic to his fighting style. He also has a strange "reving" mechanic to his sword that constantly needs to be managed with precise timing to get the most out of his potential. He definitely does feel and play differently than Dante's by now familiar set of dash and trash combos, and kiting gunplay. Bloody Colosseum is particularly fun in this one due to the large variety of fighting style choices. All in all a solid action beat em up.

I have three things in games I look for. All 3 elements need to be present for me to fully engage in the game. [ 1 ] Great/awesome graphics. [2 ] great story/plot I can immerse myself into. [ 3 ] dynamic real-time fighting abilities. {Look, if a person wants to hit their foe with a sword and then stand there like a dummy while the mobs hits you back; and both of you sort of trade blows till one of you dies.....well, that's up to that player} However, that kind of game does not suit me. SO, with DMC all your moves and the games seem to be as fast as lightning. Faster even. I loved it. DMC has all 3 elements in a perfectly fluid balance. Once I entered the game, it was a done deal. Couldn't stop.
One thing I found extremely useful which I referred to whenever I could not figure out the next step was to have a Complete Walkthrough done by CASUALGAMER on my desktop at all times for easy reference. Hah, there was this one fight in the Laboratory where I was dying and fighting with all my might.20 minute fights!! Again and again. WTF??? So, I checked out the Walkthrough for that particular part fight and saw the trick. embarrassed, but wiser, I then beat the fight in a matter of minutes.
Truly a magnificent game.

I'm a huge fan of the DMC franchise so I'm biased. I love this game. It's got about the same level of difficulty as the 3 remake. I'm not a huge fan of the pitiful female characters (seeing how Trish and Lady had very strong personalities). The graphics are super pretty. Dante's character redesign is extremely cool (in my opinion), my favorite design of Dante by far.
The story is pretty average. Your typical misguided/radically evil religious organization because irony. I didn't like Nero's mechanics at first, but after getting used to them, they're not so bad. I love being able to switch between all the styles in combat as Dante (also the animations for style change is awwwwesome).

It took a while for it to read & install Direct X 9C & My GPU's are Direct X12 compliant & my Graphics are awesome & flawless.

まず、面白いかどうか？といえば、確かに面白かったと思う。
大手CAPCOMのシリーズ物として、グラフィック的にもアクションのシステム的にもよく作りこまれていて流石だと思う。

ただ、少し踏み込んでみると・・

１．シナリオが一部欠けていると思わせるような不完全燃焼感
２．ネロのスナッチはアクションを簡単にしすぎてしまっている感じがする
３．ダンテのスタイルシステムは、全体的に前作3から少しずつかっこ悪くなったかな？という印象

シリーズのファンには少し物足りないかもしれませんね。
