Luther gets pulled into what appears at first to be a simple kidnapping case when a girl named Dakota shows up out of the blue. Turns out, however, that it's much much more complex than that. With the forces of both heaven and hell on her trail, Luther finds himself in way over his head, but he's determined not to let Dakota down. Lucky girl! It's a pretty wild ride, and while things do end on a positive note, they don't exactly "end." This book leaves us with some big unanswered questions, which will no doubt have other readers just as anxiously awaiting the next book in this series as I am.
