I didn't really care about the characters in the story, because I didn't really get to know them. The plot moved along at a reasonable pace until the middle when things sped up in order to fit in a multitude of details that were necessary to end the tale. The aha! moment at the end was telegraphed early in the story, leaving it a little flat. And the finish was too pat. Not recommended.
