Just a bit too predictable. One of those books with s somewhat disappointing ending. But, still a good pastime for reading!

Good book. Gets slow in the middle. You keep wanting to tell that girl not to be so stupid! Good ending. My guess on who dun it was wrong.
Refreshing.

Mark Edwards has created an intricate read that may just leave you guessing until the very end. About the time you think you know who the bad guy is there is another twist that takes you ever deeper into this creative tale. Is Sophie losing it, or is someone really out to get her? Keep reading you will be surprised!

I have read most, if not all, of Mark Edwards' books. I am always amazed at the depth of depravity of some of the characters. They do truly horrific, unthinkable, things to their fellow humans. It kind of makes me worry about Mr. Edwards! That being said, The Devil's Work was everything I expected. Well written, entertaining, page-turning, horrific, suspenseful, and surprising. Moments after I was sure I had it all figured out, I realized I was wrong. I can't wait for the next book!

A rather strange story but one that kept your interest and had you turning page after page and staying up long past libertine

Much as I enjoy Mark Edwards' work, this was a by-the-Mark-Edwards-numbers tale.

I had been anticipating this book for some time as I've devoured everything else he's written. Maybe that was the problem. I was expecting too much.

It's a good solid read with all the usual M.E. shenanigans, but it didn't quite do it for me. I hope everyone else enjoys it more than I did and I'm sure if it's your first time reading one of his books it will be as thrilling as any other.

I hate to give negative reviews but I couldn't get halfway through this read. Pathetic characters and terrible story line.

Another psychological thriller at Mark Edwards. His plots are amazing and love his attention to detail. I plan to read all of his books. I have already read three

I love it when I find an author that captures my attention through the whole book. This one did not disappoint. I really could picture the office building and the coworkers and as usual he had me on edge the whole time.
