Devotion to the Seven Sorrows of Mary will obtain great favors from Her who is our life, our sweetness and our hope. This book contains devotions and meditations for doing so.

These Sorrows: The Prophecy of Simeon, The Flight into Egypt, The Loss of Jesus in the Temple, The Meeting of Her Son as He carried His Cross to Calvary, Standing beneath the Cross as He died, His descent from the Cross into Her arms, and Leaving Jesus Buried in the Sepulchre.

Consider the desolation of Her Heart, which was innocent of injury. Consider how mothers everywhere suffer for their children. Unite your heart to Hers by considering Her sorrows and find consolation. Pray one Hail Mary for each of Her Seven Sorrows while considering each one and obtain great favors from Heaven for doing so.
