BEWARE: if you shake the card, the SD falls out. If you drop it on a desktop, you risk losing the SD.
The microSDs seem to stay in well, although the previous DiMe had a definite "lock in" that I don't feel with this card. I definitely will not trust any important SD cards to remain secure so basically I'm left with a storage unit for 4 microSDs ... oh well, better luck next time, but I won't be buying another one of these.
One, it is too thick for me. I had hoped it was perhaps just a tad thinner.
Second, after a few inserts, the SD cards started to a little loose. It does not fall out yet, but I can see it is only a matter of time before that will happen.
Third, the case that I got was a little warped (not completely flat). I understand at this price range, workmanship is not at its highest, but for a product that needs to be thin and precise, I was quite disappointed.
I think I'm going back to Walgreens to get those tiny ziplocks for pills. They work well for storing micro SD cards.
The actual case is durable plastic and protects the microSD cards very well. You do need longer fingernails to remove the cards from their slots and I do not have long enough fingernails (I bite them), so I keep a guitar pick around to pop them out when I need them. Overall though it was a good buy and I'm glad I randomly stumbled across this.
There is a loop at the top of the holder presumable for a neck lanyard of some type. I would not use that as a situation my arise where the card starts swinging on your neck lanyard, hits something with enough force to jar the cards lose. The friction that retains the cards in the holder over a period of time will probably wear and the cards would become more vulnerable to falling out. Also the friction holding the cards vary between slots.
If you plan on keeping the card holder in your camera bag, then this holder should be adequate.
The device seems well made, and there are no squeaks or bending: this is a very stiff, and ostensibly, strong piece. It would be perfect for taking on trips, but equally useful for just managing cards at home. It's small size and weight makes it a pretty handy device for both settings. Why four stars, instead of five? Just a minor quibble: getting those little rascals back out of their slots can be tough (unless you have a decent length of fingernail, and then it's not an issue). I would have liked to have seen each slot spring loaded and lock, so that when you push the card in, it locks into place, and then to remove, pressing on it to have the spring push it out (a design you see on many computers and other devices). But this would have added cost to the device, for sure, and probably a bit of weight, too, so it really may not be that big of an issue with which to be concerned. But for storing these types of cards, I have no problem recommending it.

This is a good idea. Kudos to the person who thought of this. It feels well made and seems to keep the cards held securely and I doubt if they will slip out.Published 7 days ago by RKC
The trouble micro SD's is they get lost easy. This solves that problem.Published 1 month ago by Tom L.
The only way to store and keep track of your SD Storage cards.
These work well, and the labels actually write well with a whiteboard marker. The design is a little unprofessional - I wish there was an option that was a bit more sleek for the... Read morePublished 1 month ago by Andrew
Super comfortable, slim and light.
One small issue with the dedicated description stickers – couldn’t find a pen or a marker that will hold on the sticker for long.
This is a hard one to rate. I would give the actual product five stars. It works well and the cards don't fall out for me. Read morePublished 2 months ago by RK
