Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This is an online only game. If you’re on PS4/5 or Xbox Series console will need online subscription (PS+ or Xbox Live)Also need a battlenet account (free) to playCross play between PC and other consolesFeels like more Diablo. Core feel and gamplay is the same, but the world much more content and way better graphics/enemy on screen than past titles. Art design is more in tone with Diablo 2Character creator is basic. Choose class (5 total), gender, hair style, face, face paint/tattoo-Story:A group of thieves go in dungeon to seek treasure. One person in group is Lilith follower and help release her. You spend the whole campaign trying to find and defeat LilithEntire game is voice acted. Story is more serious with less comedic and over exaggerated moments like past titles. Most of story is shown through in-game model cinematic than pre rendered. Must more lore and story than past titlesEnds in cliff hanger. Seeing that it is a seasonal live service game, will get expansions later on. The amount of content you do get here is well worth the purchase price-GameplayOn console it’s easy to play. Can assign special to any face button or trigger (except L1 which use potions). Unlike PC where you can micro manage who to attack; will attack closest enemy you’re facing. Seeing the attacks animations are big didn’t find a issue attacking the right enemyThere’s level scaling throughout the game. Focus on skill than being overpowered to win. Its open world, but there’s no overpowered enemy in certain sections of the map like Elden Ring, Monster Hunter, Zelda Tears of The Kingdom for exampleThere is some strategy, not just highest stats win. There’s a dodge mechanic (on cooldown). There’s more of a challenge as enemies are more puzzle based on how to take them down. Fells less of a grind, and can complete the main campaign much easier without time commitment (grinding levels).Abilities: Cooldown based, mana based attacks.Still tree is really expansive. There are certain abilities like Ultimate Special and Last Passive ability where you can only choose 1 out of a selection. Gives players option to experiment instead of spam all they have in one go. Respec is inexpensive and just use in-game goldOnce you reach around level 40 you have gone through the entire skill tree, and able to pick-and-choose you’re desired play style. Seeing the game is scales to your level, once you reach this point there’s no reason to grind to beat the main campaign (unless you’re looking for rare drop or want ideal weapon/armor load out)There’s a transmog system. Once you dismantle an armor, you get it’s skinWil be constantly swapping out armor and weapons until you reach the post game where you collect rare/legendary items items, dismantle them for crafting items and fusing them to your desired endgame weaponThis game has tons of secondary stats (100+) had to look up what some of them do as some don’t fit my buildPost game has tons of content. Once you reach level 70+ there isn’t much to do and feels like just grinding for weapon/armor upgrades until the next story season comes outOne had one glitch I came across. During a multi-layered side mission, it soft locked me from completing an objective. Had to abandon quest and start over. There is a real world store front where you can buy skins (not in game?) and in-game currency. I didn’t find the need for the latter, guess for those who just want to pay-to-win?? For the former, skins are just cosmetic and doesn’t have in-game stats.Overall had a very fun time with this game. Tons of content for what you’re paying for
I have logged about 25 hours in the game and here are my thoughts. Graphics are great. Sound is great. As for the internet/networking part of it, no problems at all. Every time I start the game, I spend maybe 20 seconds in the queue before I am logged into the server and another 30 seconds for the game to start. I have never lost my connection or been booted out and lost progress. The game has however locked up twice and I had to quit and start the game again, but both times I was put right back where I was when it locked up, so no lost progress as others have reported happening to them.
Gameplay compared to the other Diablo games. Graphics are way better than the cartoon looking Diablo 3. Darker feel. They did away with some of the tiresome grind stuff. You can use a town portal to go to any town you have been to and activated a portal. That saves you from backtracking out of long winding dungeons. 95 percent of the gear you pick up is specific to the character you are playing so you don't get loaded down with junk from other classes you can't use. Magic items you find do not have to be identified, they are usable as soon as you pick them up.
Dying: When this happens you respawn at a checkpoint close to where you died. You don't lose your equipment and have to go find your dead body and equipment. Your equipment will lose 10% of its durability, but you can run right back into the fight with not much penalty for dying. Just remember to repair all your equipment next time your in a town. When you respawn your health and health potions are restored to full capacity, so you are not jumping back in the fight with a health disadvantage.
Open World: It isn't so linear as the other Diablo installments. There are lots of side quests you can go on. Do them in any order, traveling to whichever territory you want to explore.
Apparently "Some features may require an internet connection and an online subscription" means, the game can't be played at all without internet - didn't think "Some Features" means the whole game.
In the product photo the sleeve states "Internet Required". The one I got now states "Playstation Plus required to play". Not what I had bought!
If you like online games and that's what you are looking for the game might be fun - depending on which review you read, sadly I won't be able to test the game, because I'm not buying Playstation Plus and currently don't feel inclined to sign up for a Blizzard account either.
If you are like me and where looking for a couch co-op game like Diabolo 3, stay away. While the description seem to promise that, you can't play the game. And the back of the case states: 2-4 Network Players, not what was described on the product page either.
I guess I will try to stay away from Blizzard games in the foreseeable future.
