Must ship hazmat as United States Postal Office shipping is illegal. Matches can not be mailed USPS any seller shipping that way is not complying with shipping hazardous products, or Amazon’s policy.

Once ignited they are fine and behave like you would expect a match to behave, nice flame and good burn time.
Not necessarily on these particular boxes but on the box I had prior to this order, on the side of the box where they have the striker panel, I found that the rough stuff on it, wore off after a while and long before the box of matches was used up, I was having to strike a match several times before it found enough rough stuff to ignite the match.
All in all they are not perfect, but they are decent enough matches that I ordered them again in this three pack.
Pros: hard to find strike anywhere matches
Cons: they're still matches that can break or get wet
And the striking surfaces on the matchbox wear out before you've used even 1/4 of the matches in the box. I've worn out the striking surfaces on all 3 boxes of matches and I haven't even used all the matches in one box yet.
Don't ask me how, but I found that a dog bone (one of the ones they sell filled with peanut butter) is the best surface to light these matches off of. I don't know why. And it's less than convenient because I don't usually carry a bone around with me when I'm camping.
So these matches are used exclusively for lighting incense in the living room and a dog bone lives in the chest with the incense and matches now.
