Diamondback stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of all our products.
The Edgewood combines the same relaxed contact points and geometry of a comfort bike with the smooth-rolling 700C wheels of a road bike. The aluminum alloy frame is dependable and features classic geometry for a predictable and stable ride. The suspension fork and seat post add an extra layer of cushioning, and the 21-speed drivetrain gives you plenty of gears to get you through any terrain. An adjustable stem helps you dial in your preferences even further. With plenty of traction from wide tires and hassle-free brakes, it really is as simple as getting on and pedaling. With a ton of utility for the price, it's not hard to see why the Edgewood is a favorite.

I have been riding this bike for a bit over a month. It feels nice and sturdy. The ride is comfortable. There are shocks on the front wheel but I think they may be more decorational than functional. As far as casual bike riding comes, it works great. Sometimes i will even drag around my kid in the baby carriage thing for a while with no issues. HOWEVER, the assembly....
We ordered two bikes, one for the wife and the Edgewood for myself. My wife's bike pretty much assembled, only had to adjust brakes a bit. It was a breeze 15-20 min assembly with clear instructions. The Edgewood was whole different adventure. The instructions, i presume, were made by photocopying the same booklet from 1995 or made by an intern who has never used photo editing. All the images that explain the instructions are blurry. The assembly instructions are not in the order you would assemble a bike. Each section is described poorly at best. I can't overstate how poorly pre-configured this bike came. The description says "Ready Ride bikes shipped 95 percent assembled.". That is a lie.
If you are not technically inclined, you will have to pay another $75-$100 to get it assembled and tuned in a shop. If you have a few hours and youtube then you can (probably) do this yourself.
