This story was really good for a love match between opposite worlds. Though this was classified as a romance it was the suspension, action, and idea behind the story that really sucked me in. I cannot wait for Den of Thieves book two to hit the market.
Reviewed on behalf of Once upon a Alpha
The writing in some parts was quite stilted and dead stop where sentences were ended abruptly or in the wrong context of wording. I don't know if was just the copy I was given but the formatting was way off splitting paragraphs that should have been continuous speech which really affected the flow of the story. Editing was also an issue in some parts where words were missed or letters missed causing incorrect spelling. The story is told in a third person pov but in a few instances it was as if it switched to character pov. I am sorry it wasn't better for me but doI wish the author the best of luck.
The only thing I didn’t really care for was the way Daria was in the beginning, but she seemed to redeem herself later on in the story.
If your looking for a quick and mysterious romance then I would say Diamond is what your looking for.
Reviewing on Behalf of Once Upon An Alpha
**ARC for Honest Review**
This was a nice short book and I enjoyed it. I have to admit, I wasn't too fond on Daria - she annoyed me and what makes it worse is that she wants someone to 'make her heart sing' but she won't let anyone get close enough to do that. I liked Sebastian but felt that not much was said about him or his background. This book lightly touches on characters rather than going in depth which was disappointing. But overall it wasn't a bad book to read and the narrative but interesting.
