"This book deserves more than the max five stars." "The best one yet!" "Yet another amazing read...I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series and find out what happens next!" "Many, many thanks for a truly great read." "Great story. Great characters. Loved it." "I loved the book and the character you have developed in Diana." "Oh my gosh! I just finished Stolen and now can't wait to read the other books in this series. I loved it and it sure kept me on my toes......" "This was so well written and edgy. I had a hard time putting it down. I loved the danger, the characters were all people I could relate to and I enjoyed the descriptions, they jumped of the page into my imagination. Well done."

A very absorbing set of mysteries. I thoroughly enjoy all of Alison Golden's books, but for me the Diana Hunter and Inspector Graham books are my favourites, but it should be noted that the Diana Hunter books are definitely not cosy, but are very exciting. The characters in these books are always very well developed and believable, and the plots are suitably twisty with surprise endings which are always difficult to spot. These stories are equally suitable for reading on a cold winter's evening or for sitting in the sun in the summer. between them they provide a few hours of very pleasurable escapism, very highly recommended. I received a complimentary copy of this box set from the author, but I have voluntarily written this review based on my own opinions.
A riproaring boxed set that will have you cheering on the sidelines!!! Most boxed sets bore me. You can only read so much of them before it becomes tedious to the extreme. However this kept me rivitted from beginning to end and then I wanted more! There is a central story line with each book functioning as a stand alone with it's own excellent story line that is action packed. The characters are well defined and come alive. If I could give this a TEN I would have!
Diana Hunter stories combine detective and spy stories in a delightful way. There is a main story arc and a longer, series, arc that develops along the books. Each story a delight and we discover more things about the main characters in a natural way. Set in Canada, but going elsewhere when the story demands, the adventures are well worth the effort. Being able to get all of the early stories in a single go is a great deal. I recommend the books.
I love the Diana Hunter series. A little darker than typical cozy, but not as intense as crime fiction—the series strikes a perfect balance. If unsure, then try just one book first. I guarantee that you will be up into the wee houurs turning pages. While I have purchased each book after reading it, I was given free copies in exchange for honest reviews.
The books are quickly paced and just the right size for an afternoon's read. The characters are written as though they are real - like you can reach out and touch them. The plot keeps you going until the end.
My review is completely voluntary. I have Books 1, 2, 4. And I want you to keep writing stories about Diana Hunter !!! I could not put them down. I got my books free which is wonderful for me, we are on a fixed income and can't buy my books like I could years ago.
